Eddrachilles Hotel Badcall Bay

Une escale inespérée dans ce lieu magique, un de nos hôtels préféré, nous étions exténués de notre long voyage, cet hôtel nous a réparé, literie ultra confortable, le meilleur petit dej de tout le pays, le haggis et le black pudding excellents, un grand souci du détail dans tout. Vue incroyable sur le Loch !

Everything about the Eddrachilies is spot on. The fabric and decor of the hotel is just right and in excellent condition, the owners are extremely pleasant and helpful, all other staff mirror those traits. My room was absolutely fine and lacked for nothing. Finally, the food, I’ve experienced less satisfying meals in Michelin starred establishments, every meal was just great. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Lovely hotel in spectacular location. Very relaxing, lots of books, games, etc., complimentary afternoon tea and scones. Short but good dinner menu, and well cooked. Bedroom spotlessly clean, big bath towels, robes, comfy bed, all the usual bits ‘n’ bobs expected for such a place. One word description: classy. Recommended.

Quaint little stop on the NC500. What makes this place stand out are a few things. The restaurant is very good. The locals eat there and they literally only do one seating (to maintain their relaxed vibe), so when you check in, make a reservation. Also, the couple that own it are super nice and literally do everything there. Just a really great atmosphere. Smallish rooms, but was fine for a night. Comfy beds.

Just back from 3 nights at Eddrachilles Hotel. What a great place - bar lounge with roaring fire and club style armchairs and sofas, conservatory with ceiling to floor glass and comfortable chairs to gaze at the view of Badcall Bay. Lovely gardens and walks to the shore. Great welcome for our dog with towels and treats and a sausage for breakfast! However the most important thing is the food. If you want fast food burgers and pizzas this is not the place for you! Its so refreshing to find a great hotel with equally good food. The menu is small but each night there are a choice of starters, main courses which includes rib eye steak, a meat dish, fish dish and a veggie option, followed by delicious desserts or cheese and biscuits. All the meals are well presented, well cooked and seasoned and absolutely delicious and the menu changes every day which is great to go out for the day and come back wondering what's for dinner tonight. The Head Chef is really setting the bar high and apparently he's back next year. So if you haven't been I urge you to visit as soon as possible. The service from Richard, Fiona and all the team is excellent. Oh I nearly forgot the afternoon complementary tea or coffee and scones, jam and cream all freshly prepared daily and a complementary snack pack to take with you on your days out. We will be back!!!

We have returned again and again. We love the Edrachilles Hotel. Peace. A truly warm welcome from the owners and everyone there. Beautiful gardens. Great food - a fabulous white Burgundy over dinner. The best view ever from a shower room - and set in a part of the Highlands for world beating hikes and scenic beauty. Just go … you’ll love it. Already planning our next trip (our Labrador was not forgive us if we don’t take her back!) Thank you 🙏

The hotel owners were very accommodating considering we booked very last minute. Absolutely gorgeous location looking over the bay. The room was clean and bedding was lovely and clean and crisp. We had a fantastic nights rest the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast included was 10/10 and the breakfast room looking out to the garden with many birds was delightful. I would highly recommend and hopefully will come back one day.

This is The Best Hotel in the north of Scotland. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and always warm. The food is excellent; the choice, on a menu which changes daily, is wonderful. The wine list is substantive and well priced. But the current owners, the staff and their welcome are the best of all. Would recommend the Eddrachillies to anyone looking for peace, quiet, and tranquillity. The views are awesome and the hospitality the same.

Had the best meal here tonight, lovely surroundings with friendly staff.will definitely be back. Food was absolutely delicious and beautifully served. Pre dinner drinks in the conservatory with a fabulous view
