格林科勒公園酒店(Grinkle Park Hotel)

The hotel is set within a beautiful garden. There is a snooker room and bar area with seating in the garden. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t warm enough to sit out so we opted for the snooker room in the afternoon. The downstairs areas were clean and there is evidence to suggest the hotel has had a recent uplift but it’s still in need of modernisation. Areas had been redecorated, but the entire place doesn’t have any real identity or atmosphere. The seating and carpets were dated. It was also slow service ordering drinks on the sat afternoon. We stayed in a suite, which had a very comfy bed and robes/slippers. There was a variety of tea (inc herbal) and complimentary shortbread which was a nice touch. There was mould around the windows, bathtub, grubby cords and cobwebs above the blinds, which we informed reception about. We ate in the restaurant, which was ok. It’s an old fashioned setup with a limited menu. The steak was delicious, but they had run out of chips?! The cheese board was a bit drab so I’d recommend choosing something else. Breakfast was nice, good service and friendly staff. Overall it was average, not great value for money considering the price we paid. I imagine it would be adequate if you were attending an event on site, or visiting in summer when you can use the outdoor space. Be mindful that there is not much in the way of entertainment if you’re stuck indoors.

What a Peaceful, calm and relaxing environment and the staff were so welcoming to both us and our golden retriever Our meals were served in the conservatory which had extensive views over the well tended gardens and woodland beyond Our only comment would be that we would choose a larger room next time Look forward to a return visit

Location and scenery = Good Room = Comfortable and clean Staff = Friendly Breakfast and Dinner = Good (wine at table could have been chilled better and coffee cups a little on the small size for our liking) Overall = Good Would we stay again = Possibly, if in the area

We had a lovely stay at Grinkle park, enjoying the relaxed and very comfortable setting. Had a great meal at the Conyers restaurant on our first night, but needed to go out on our second in order to get the car charged. The lack of charging infrastructure in the area, would make it a advantage to be able to charge overnight at the hotel. Come on Grinkle sort it out!

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Grinkle Park and as on previous visits we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The evening menu wasn't very adventurous and the only vegetarian option was cauliflower steak. If we had been staying longer we would have struggled to find anything different to eat. Our room was on the second floor but was quite spacious and very comfortable. Unfortunately our friends said that their room seemed damp and there was a lot of condensation on the window. However, the staff are really friendly and helpful and I would certainly not hesitate to return/

Held my Daughters Baby Shower at Grinkle Park Hotel, the hotel is stunning, spotless and set in idyllic grounds. The “Camellia Room” is beautiful, spacious and can comfortably host 30-35 guests. The doors open onto the stunning grounds and seated sun terrace area enabling us to capture amazing photos! The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and had prepared the room, tables were dressed in freshly pressed quality white table cloths, crockery and cutlery (attention to detail). At our request the hotel kindly allowed us time prior to add personal decorations and erect the balloon arch and, provided additional tables for cake, gifts and prizes before guests arrived. The afternoon tea was incredible! Variety of sandwiches, pastries, scones and, endless selections of cakes and desserts plus unlimited tea and coffee - presented amazingly! I would like to say a huge thank you to both chefs, Linda, Annette, Paul, Ginny and Alex for making my Daughters day so special!

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful. The afternoon tea was ok, no frills though. The room was clean but the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. I was unable to wash my hair as there was no mirror in the bedroom apart from a full size one that was nowhere near a plug, very poor. The breakfast was also mixed. The cooked breakfast was fine but, it was very strange the juices were either diluting juice or had been watered down, awful. Also the pastries ran out and the wait for breakfast was excessive although the staff did apologise and explained that everyone had arrived at once for breakfast.

Very nice stay at Grinkle Hall. Rooms were very comfortable, good sized bathrooms and plenty of hot water. Lounge and bar very welcoming for pre- dinner drinks and coffee and the garden was lovely for drinks when the sun shone! Breakfast was ok - slightly disappointing fruit salad but cooked breakfasts were very nice. Dinner exceeded our expectations- good choice for each course and special diets catered for. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and made for a very relaxing stay

Grinkle Park never fails to deliver. Always a warm welcome. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The dining experience is excellent. We have been several times and will definitely be returning . Christmas is especially nice if you feel like getting away at Christmas time.
