麥家酒店長灘市中心(Hotel Mai Downtown Long Beach)

Bij binnenkomst was de kamer al klaar werd er gemeld maar wilden we er 2 uur eerder in moesten we 50$ bij betalen . Belachelijk vind ik maar het zal tegenwoordig wel normaal zijn . Bij het inchecken moesten we ook nog 200$ Borg betalen die we dan na 5 dagen weer terug krijgen ??? Dan kom je op de kamer is netjes en schoon maar geef me een dwangbuis en het feest is compleet een mega witte steriele kamer hier wil je echt geen paar dagen zitten .maar dat is mijn idee er zullen best mensen zijn die het wel mooi vinden .

Great location, amenities and hotel is brand new. Pool and hot tub are on the 2nd floor. My biggest issue is that the building’s bathroom ventilation wasn’t running so I could clearly hear another guest personal conversation and videos they watched from the toilet loud and clear. We had a brief convo since the vent is right above. The duct work amplifies the noise. I couldn’t have been more embarrassed. In other hotels I’ve stayed in there’s a constant fan or vacuum so you don’t hear others through the ventilation system. Also all the balcony units face the main street so you’re challenged with trolly and bus noises along with homeless shouting. I can only recommend this place if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room. Although I pre-paid for parking I was still given a parking ticket overnight. The front desk thankfully will be taking care of that.

the location of the hotel was perfect for my stay in long beach. very nice and up to date. i really loved the sauna/steam room/pool/hot tub/and gym area. it’s a short distance from everything really. i walked and also rode the bird scooters down to the beach. there’s a lot of eateries and bars around. literally 1 block away. there’s also a shopping area where they have a h&m forever21 and a ferris wheel. it’s right on the bus/train line as well

The property itself was excellent - clean, new, bright, lovely staff. We greatly appreciated the inside parking. A suggestion for rooms w/ balconies is that they should have 2 chairs that can be used to sit on the balcony and view your beautiful city, eat dinner. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance and a convenience store. The issues we had were constant noise in this location - train/bus/unhoused people just below us on the street overnight, talking all night.

Hotel is not built to last. As of our stay, the hotel had only been open 3 weeks but showed signs of cheap build and finish quality. Hate to see it a year from now. Plus, covered parking not secure at night. This part of Long Beach is unfortunately not the best. Lots of street noise all night long Mattress was poor; way too uncomfortable for us. TV was not functional as the Wi-Fi was unable to connect. Hotel should have bought smaller TV’s and spent the saved money on better mattress. This was our first and last stay at this hotel

Hotel decor great, minimalist and modern, rooms very spacious & staff great however if you end up with a room on the lower floors it’s super noisy and you won’t get much sleep! It was unfortunate we had requested a higher floor but there was only a 2nd floor available. Room 201 worst room ever, over the entrance & nearest the elevator and then there’s the public transit right outside your balcony very early start ( no point in having the balcony you won’t use it.)!! hotel should supply ear plugs!

It started out shaky because we were sent to a room that had not yet been cleaned. That being said the remedied that immediately and gave a beautiful clean room. It was all very new looking and we had 0 complaints. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Room is clean, but it was not serviced on the second day of my stay. Walls are thin - I could easily hear my neighbors talking, watching TV, their alarm, etc. Location is good for access to the convention center and downtown LB.

We liked the comfy beds and bed sheets, we rate the hotel 10/10. We did not like the sound of the train while we were asleep, but we know that was not your fault. Thank you!
