Let me start off by praising the staff. Lovely people at both the front desk & breakfast service, but that's where it ends. This location was a huge let down. We picked this location bc we saw the pool and water slide and thought it'd be fun. Let's just say that for the price it cost for a weekend stay, we didn't expect Spirit Airlines clientele.
Loud, rambunctious, dirty people. Kids loudly coughing all throughout the breakfast buffet and parents did not care. Teens running through the halls barefoot. Loud music heard in the hallways. Pure obnoxiousness.
The water slide doesn't have enough water flowing to slide down. Every kid and adult got stuck, every single time. You're required to sign waivers and wear wrist bands to be in the tiny pool area. And you can't use a key card to get in, you must be let into the pool area by the front staff. The pool area was very unkempt. Drainage didn't drain so the surrounding walkways were pools of dirty standing water. Used bandaids and clumps of hair - all the bleach in the world wouldn't help here.
The rooms are nice standard Marriott rooms, spacious & clean. But there must not be any insulation between floors bc every step taken above you can be heard. All night. All day. Every single step. If you have rambunctious kids in the room above like we did, you won't be sleeping at all. Again, the staff was helpful, went up there for noise complaint at 1am, and the next day kindly got us moved which was appreciated but would not return.
