The room was super clean and they have it made up to be super cleanable. A lovely floor with no carpet and no rugs. For years I've thought all hotel rooms should be like that. Sparkling clean bathroom and clean, cleanable furniture, even the drawers. Also very nice staff. Their Korean restaurant had started to close early the day I arrived, but they ushered me in and cooked some teriyaki chicken for me--very grateful for that as I was exhausted after a problematic trip. They also have bottles of Kirkland water you can buy at the front desk for only one dollar.
The main thing wrong was the noise at night. The walls and windows are thin, the plumbing noisy. The doors are heavy and slam shut with an earthshaking crash. Traffic noises include grinding trucks, revering motorcycles, and hot rod type cars. Then people coming to their rooms late at night raucously talking, shouting, laughing. If you're a heavy sleeper or have super good earplugs, that would help. It's too bad because it's such a lovely place otherwise.
One additional warning: you can't just call a taxi when you leave the hotel, you have to make an appointment in advance.
