The hotels ppl is bad on service. Other things are ok

I was really excited to go here and we had selected one of the most priciest room choice they had, expecting a really fun vacation. The hotel has very good reviews and seemed highly rated. But here below are some of the pros and unfortunately more cons: Pros: Clean facility Helpful staff Lots of restaurants choices Cons: - As soon as we checked in, even though it was 3pm, check in, we didn't get a room till 4-4.30pm. - Our room was almost a 10 min golf cart ride away!! So, all the entertainment, pool access, restaurants were far away from our room, and every time we had to step out, we needed to call for the golf cart. Which just seemed very inconvenient, but definitely a way for the resort to make extra money! Who carries that much small change $$ for tips! It was just not something we were prepared for. - Even though there were so many restaurants to eat at, we only ate at 3 restaurants, because all others had 1.5-2hrs wait time each time we tried! They don't take reservations, so cant really skip the wait. - Entertainment, I might add what entertainment?! The customer service was really poor. We didn't really see any entertainment because there wasn't enough information about it! - We tried to book an excursion via the concierge at the hotel, and they tried to rip us off by charging an additional $150. We booked the same excursion directly from the website! - Been a VIP Silver Elite member at ******* gives me some benefits - which I did not end up getting!

Beautiful property. Excellent food. Great snorkeling right on the beach. Nice pools. Great selection of restaurants. Bring good binoculars to see the many whales from hotel balcony/beach. It was an incredible site. Highlight of my trip. Room was beautiful. Great staff.

The resort was beautiful though i thought the rooms were a little outdated. We had been told that our room came with a sofa bed and I even confirmed on email prior to our stay but there was no sofa bed. One of us had to sleep on the couch and another person slept on a roll away bed that they brought in which was then in place in the middle of the living room for the entire stay. They told us on 3 occasions they would bring a sofa bed and they never did and we just gave up asking any further.

This was the first trip to Cabo for me and my family. We were a little nervous about Mexico in general with our kids, but we couldn't have been more comfortable. The Grand Fiesta Americana was fantastic. We will definitely go again and we will be staying at this property. The beach is fantastic. My family spent a ton of time snorkeling and hanging out by the beach. It was incredible.

We ended up getting an AWESOME Black Friday deal for this property making it super affordable for a winter getaway. The property is stunning. The grounds are incredibly well maintained! The drinks are strong and you don’t have to ask for higher end alcohol —they automatically use it (something we haven’t seen before in an all inclusive). The breakfasts at the Penninsula were incredible. The wait staff was amazing and the poolside service for lunches made it so you didn’t have to leave your seat once and could enjoy the sun ALL day. Cleanliness wise it was apparent that they keep the pools very clean and the buffets (which make me nervous from a cleanliness standpoint) were incredibly sanitary and maintained beautifully from the beginning to end of each meal service. The pools were unheated and VERY cold, which is one of my only complaints but it sounds as if that isn’t specific to this resort and is common in many resorts in Cabo. We were part of the grand club but found that if we hadn’t gotten the upgrade for free, we really wouldn’t have missed it. The perks were fine but unnecessary. All in all we loved our trip. As a couple, we will probably pursue adults only in the future for a more romantic vibe but this was still absolutely amazing! Thank you, Grand Fiesta!

Excellent experience. All the of the facilities were clean and well maintained; lots of activities for me and for my son (6 years old); great kids club and massage services; food was delicious; staff was wonderful and accommodating. Good sized pools and a private beach.

1. They really push you for 3 hours to get the timeshare they say no pressure but its nothing but 2. Food for vegetarians is very very limited 3. Staff overall was excellent
