聖埃蒂恩酒店(Hotel St-Etienne)

Siamo stati in questo hotel i giorni 10-11-12 febbraio 2024 con gruppo di amici la struttura è vecchia le pareti delle camere in cartongesso ma la cosa più brutta che abbiamo trovato le lenzuola sporche un letto con macchie di sangue e pus che la prima notte non erano sta viste in quanto si trovavano verso la fine del letto e quindi la prima notte questi due amici ci hanno anche dormito. Colazione scarsa un piccolo croissant sopra la tazza la cena discreta di positivo la ragazza alla reception che parlava italiano e molto gentile . Hotel da evitare

The room was filthy The "views" were to a terrace full of dirt and cigars The bathroom flooded when taking a shower I kindly requested a change, and their reply was "as you are travelling alone, this is the room you get" Room rate €50!!!

We picked a hotel for budget and thats what we got, the place was clean but old, a coat of paint throughout would make a big difference. No air con. we booked bed and brakfast, breakfast was served to you tea/coffee, oj, crossent, half a crusty roll a slice of ham, a half a slice of cheese and a natural yogurt. Hotel at top of hill directly up from St Michaels gate not to bad a hill but would be tough to push a wheelchair up. small foyer/bar in front of hotel where you could sit and have a drink. we were unable to eat in this hotel as we had not booked in advance which was a pity as food looked good.Man on breakfast duty and girl on reception/breakfast were very nice, limited englih spoken. the lady cleaning our rooms had a hard job in the heat but she did a good job. site said it was a 10 min walk to sanctuary but it was less than 5 mins . only one elec socket in bedroom and one in bathroom. There is a lift but also a few steps to some rooms so if this is an issue let hem know in advance.I would stay here again as i said old but clean, but on a budget not the worst.

Although the French star system is different to the UK, I would consider it equivalent to a 3 star. My single room had two beds with ensuite and was clean, adequate with tv and tall windows that opened to the Boulevard. The hotel serves b&b and evening meal. Note; the evening meal is a set meal and the choice is for meat-eaters - no fish and certainly not suitable for vegetarians. However, the Le Navarre bistro, just minutes down the road, will suit. The hotel has a well stocked bar and small reception. Cafes are not open early so if you require breakfast prior to 9am I suggest you eat at hotel. From 7am a good cold set breakfast of croissant with butter and jam, small pot of coffee, small jug fresh orange, slices of ham and cheese, french bread and yogurt . (Sets you up for the day) The location is great, especially if you are on pilgrimage - turn left and within five minutes straight walk you are at St Michel's Gate - the entrance to the shrine. Located in the middle of tourist shopping with an ATM is practically opposite the hotel.

Hotel is close to the Basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes. Friendly helpful reception staff. The room was noisy at night (1st floor + near elevator) Decor minimal, needs a coat of paint. Bathroom needs a renovation, shower plus shower curtain and sink needs replacing. Paid extra for City view - was a brick wall with the roof of the building across. Didn't have breakfast there for€20.00 Per day. No kettle or coffee/tea in room. More like a 2 star hotel but the price was higher than it deserves.

Good deal

Een zeer vriendelijk Hotel, dicht bij het Heiligdom in een gezellige winkelstraat, vriendelijk personeel, een zeer uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. We waren in februari, het Hotel heeft een kachel in de kamer

Soggiorno molto deludente. Zero pulizia, moquette piena di polvere, no frigo e no aria condizionata. Abbiamo dormito in una stanza che affaccia sulla strada principale, molto trafficata e rumorosa,ed è stato un incubo, perché siamo stati costretti a tenere le finestre aperte per il caldo. LA nota positiva è che gli infissi sono ermetici e insonorizzati, peccato che siamo ad agosto 🤪 I materassi sono brandine da campeggio. Noi abbiamo scelto la mezza pensione: colazione appena sufficiente, con pochissima scelta; cena varia e accettabile. Sottolineamo però che il poco personale presente è estremamente gentile e disponibile! La struttura è molto vicina al santuario in una zona ben servita.
