薩福克馬車屋酒店(The Coach House Suffolk)

The public rooms were fine but the accommodation was far below par. Toilet seat falling off paint peeling off. Signs of damp plug socket bend furniture so difficult to use. Room faced a fence no outlook. No hot water the first morning trying to find some to tell difficult. Waited 15 minuets for breakfast the 1 st morning the had to go and find some one. Totally overpriced. In fact I would like a partial refund. There was so much more that was wrong

Myself and wife, arrived at hotel, hotel did not look like it had in the picture on your site, looked very run down, for some reason my wife and I were not feeling to good so did not stay, but have to say hotel did not look like photos.

We felt very welcomed and well looked after. The room was super comfortable, very nice bed, quality bedding and linen. Nice breakfast. So quiet. Would recommend.

Stayed on the 29-12-2023 very welcoming nice lodge room clean warm very comfortable. Good service food great will return😎😀👍

I've stayed here approx 6 or 7 times over the last year, its always a 5 star experience. Its a beautiful place set back from a road (not a busy road). Its always exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast is fantastic, always hot. I always try and stay here when I'm up visiting family and hope to stay again in Feb 2024.

I had a lovely stay at the coach house. For the value for money I was really surprised at the high standard. It felt like a beautiful boutique hotel which was so nice to have since I was travelling for work. I was performing in a theatre show at the marina theatre so the location was great too, I was able to check in early. The breakfast had a brilliant variety and high standard and service. All in all a very relaxing time working.

Large room, comfortable bed and pillows, spotlessly clean, breakfast good, lovely bar area and friendly staff

There are key staff at The Coach House who are amazing - Faye, Rosie, Phillip, Louise. Great advisors on what to see and where to go in the local Region and all were wonderful recommendations. But i did find Dinner Service a little discombobulated on Saturday. The Bar/Restaurant team seemed a little overwhelmed with the busyness of the evening and there was only one person who was giving directive. It took over 20 mins to orderr food even after the chap came to take my order, but because I had to remind him to book in dinner reservation, he didn't come back, so I had to go to bar to order. A few areas for improvement - heating not working on some of the coldest nights so far this year - no heating turned on in the Dining Room during evening service, so need to wrap up warm - broken inner door handle on the Manor Room - broken shower dial - dusty radiators and cobwebs hanging from light fittings abd coving - initial request for additional flat sheet not fulfilled, so had to request again and remake bed to fit it in - moved the green velvet couch slightly and one of the legs was left behind, so obviously was already broken With a few refurbishments, this place would be wonderful.

Staff very friendly! Had a evening meal there, which was excellent. Room very clean & bed comfortable. Overall very enjoyable overnight stay.
