Our family stayed here to attend a wedding nearby and what a lovely inn it was. The staff were very accommodating and the rooms were nice and clean. The view from our room was amazing. The beds and pillows were super comfy (really want to know what pillows they are) I slept so well. They even had a vegan breakfast so a great end to our stay.

Lovely gem of a place staff pleasant and extremely helpful the organisation of everything we requested was perfect. The food was plentiful well made and cooked to perfection. Next time we fly from Luton we'll be returning here. Thanks to everyone. Housekeeping rooms are well clean and tidy thank you.

My stay started off so well and I was checked in by a lovely staff member who was very attentive. The room was cosy and the bed was comfortable. I was initially very impressed with the property for the price. My problems started in the morning. I went to the en-suite and wanted a shower. Unfortunately there was no hot water. I am a very fair person and do understand that sometimes things happen. I immediately went downstairs to inform the reception that I had no water and see how they could assist me. After a few minutes at the reception, nobody came to assist me. I then went to the hotel bar and still nobody was about to help. I then went to phone the hotel/bar using my mobile and nobody bothered to answer the phone. This is what really irritated me. There was no sign or explanation to anyone that there was a problem with the water and no sense of an apology. I had to wash in the sink using boiled kettle water - this is not what I want to do in 2023 before a long day at work. My advice is to at least provide one staff member on duty at all times. Thank god that this was only an issue with the hot water and not a real emergency such as a fire as you would literally perish in there with no staff intervention.

I've stayed here once before. An ideal place to stay if you've got an early flight from Luton Airport, just a short drive away. Rooms are comfortable, and the staff are very welcoming. A pleasant bar too, that also serves food.

We stayed here both before and after our trip to the Balearics and both visits were just perfect! Our double room wasn't enormous but it was large enough and comfortably furnished with all you could require for an overnight stay. The pub it is a part of is an absolute delight - a traditional pub on the village green with a large, dog-friendly beer garden and a fantastic range of beers and spirits. The breakfast was wonderful and so was our evening meal, the chef has a real flair for spicy dishes! All the staff in both the pub and hotel were so friendly and helpful, I really can't recommend the King William highly enough if you are transitting through Luton airport, unbeatable value for money. We will certainly be returning!

This is my experiences I encourage others to do their own research before they travel .. September 2023 I didn't stay at the hotel but I visited the pub for drinks and food several times during my in Luton. Staff, food and drinks was good .. Food and drinks was reasonable priced. The pub have a very good location with a beer garden very few other pubs have! Very unlike Luton city center which is **censured** I place I would revisit if travel once more to Luton .

Spent the night here before going to the airport. I can honestly say I’d stay here again. The staff were lovely, helpful and funny. The rooms were clean and comfy and the food was lovely, especially the full English. Highly recommend

Stayed here before and after Luton flights. Staff were very friendly, bar was decently price with good food. We found the rooms very clean, and nicely stocked, just no hairdryer. Didn’t have any noise issues from the bar. Would’ve been 5 stars but the beds need improving. Had one squeaky bed on each night. I could feel the spring in the middle of the bed I slept on in the second night. Unfortunately didn’t sleep too well here, but I am a fussy sleeper. I would still say good value for money, especially being so close to Luton.

Awful just awful. Room 9 with a marquee completely blocking the window!! Could not open window and obviously a fire hazard! Such a shame to block out that fantastic view! Classed as luxury room but no hairdryer or towel rail. Toilet paper gets wet on the floor as no holder.Food tasteless..big fat chef wandering about no apron no gloves. Twice our cokes were flat. We decided to change room hoping it would be better..it was OK until housekeeping knocked loudly at 10.40am shouting HOUSE KEEPING!! check out was 11am. As we left the room was accused of not paying for it however we had paid the night before along with our breakfast. Breakfast slopped down in front of us (eventually when we had found someone to order as noone around to assist you)..awful fried greasy. This could be so much better as the location is super. Such a shame..

The inn is in a good location for flights from Luton and in a very nice neighbourhood but I think standards have dropped somewhat since these photos were taken. The staff were quite friendly, the bar was very dark and the food was nothing to write home about. Our room was in the annex so we had no sound problems, plus it was a Tuesday so probably not much going on anyway. It was supposed to be a de luxe twin bedroom but I would say it wasn't much above basic although we did have tea and coffee provided. The bathroom was a wet room but the sink was very close to the door so there wasn't much room to dry yourself off after showing, especially as the whole floor was soaked. I don't think we'd stay here again despite it's location but probably pay a bit more for one on the airport grounds, especially as there was no breakfast served at all.

Booked with family & friends as had a family event else were. All rooms on the ground floor which was great for us with young children. Although the bathrooms/wet rooms did have a damp smell, this could be overlooked as the rooms were all comfortable, 5 adults & 4 children all slept well, beds were very comfortable. Ate breakfast there (served from9am) which was really nice and well presented. Will happily stay again should need arise.

Smelly. Dirty. Noisy. Chavvy, so chavvy. Full of coke dealers and tracksuits. Kitchen extractor unit is outside first floor windows so rooms smells of grease, zero food hygiene as manager was carrying a toddler round whilst serving food and going in and out of kitchen. No running water all evening but pub still open and so much noise right next to rooms. Awful, should be shut down. Anybody who likes their stay here is tapped or a coke dealer.

The room was relatively comfy and cheap. Stairs were quite interesting as were slopes in floors. We had a reasonable night's sleep but it was so noisy. Noise from pub, from people going in and out of rooms and really loud noise from plumbing in other rooms. Owners should really consider putting a handle in shower cubicles. Nearly slipped when it was wet. Reasonable room but don't go if you need quiet to sleep.
