獅子城堡酒店(Lion's Castle)

This historic hotel, having been operating for a century or so, is some 30 minutes or so on foot from central Lviv, and somewhat unfortunately situated atop a hill. That said, neither of these factors troubled us in any way we and we rather enjoyed our stay. Both our room, as well as the bathroom, had been decorated to a high standard, and were both modern and clean, with a well-stocked mini bar and smart TV. One drawback, which was actually rather frustrating in hindsight, was the motion-sensitive ceiling light which repeatedly activated during the night when we were trying to sleep, flooding the room with light in response to even the slightest movement. I do not know if we had missed a switch to fully turn this off, and perhaps we did, but, either way, it was quite irritating. Aside from this over-enthusiastic light, this is a pleasant place to stay with friendly, helpful staff and a pleasant breakfast offering. Thank you for having us.

Hotel is located in quiet and peaceful area however still not far from the center. Great ambience, interior design and first class service....restaurant is also very good. Wonderful boutique hotel with care of every detail.

Beautiful Building, very friendly staff, great breakfast. The only issue I had was ******* charged me for local taxes and the hotel charged me again. Not much, but I didn't like paying it twice.
