Opened my key appointed room to find a couple in a compromised position in bed! So embarrassing!! Closed the door, with luggage in tow went all the way back down to the front desk. Shared with the receptionist that we had just walked into an already occupied room. Her response, "Morning crew had double booked the room." Oddly enough, we had just booked the room online. How did the morning crew do that? She glibly continued to say, "Sorry about that. Here's your keys to another room!" So, DON'T ASSUME you're the only one getting keys to your room. While in the room -- double lock your door. Leaving the room -- take your belongings with you as you never know if this hotel has double booked your room. We left early the following morning as we were not comfortable in leaving our luggage to enjoy the hotels amenities -- the same thing could happen to us! Needless to say, this VERY EMBARRASSING encounter ruined our stay!

At this Holiday Inn Express, the decor and finishes are showing their age. Bathroom floor tile grout is deteriorating. Stains on carpeting….especially in public areas. Light bulbs in bedside lamps did not match. One was a 3000K and other was 4000 or 5000K so there was this mix of yellowish incandescent and harsh blue-white lighting. Mattress is a coil-spring with not much of a pillow top. I had a backache after about 4 hours in bed. Young lady at the front desk was very polite and courteous.

The beds were very good and comfortable The gal at the check-in was great too - very friendly. I stay there for the good breakfast.

I booked 2 days. Arrived and was told there were no “keys” available and had to have a particular gentleman walk me to my room. This same gentleman later told me there was no key’s available for my stay and every time I left and returned I’d have to ask to be let I go my paid for room. I left and went to another HI down on El Dorado the road and had wonderful service and experience. Will stop in El Dorado again should I get that way.

Love how pet friendly this hotel is! Our suite was wonderful and clean. The staff was very helpful. Nice breakfast and easy parking. The air conditioner in our room was really quiet too. The blackout curtains let us sleep in late. Highly recommend!

The room we were put on was pretty loud. But overall a good experience.

Hotel is not totally updated, but very serviceable. First floor rooms are noisy-right up against the parking lots. Great breakfast!

Everything was smooth. Breakfast was just fine.
