Mabula bietet eine tolle Landschaft und sehr gute Game Drives. Die Lodge liegt sehr gut und ist sehr gemütlich. Die Zimmer Qualität ist ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und gut. Sehr freundliches Personal! Tolle Game Drives

Moins friendly que les petits game lodge. Un peu déçue par l’accueil de la réception à notre arrivée mais tout le reste est très bien: propreté, choix des mets, gentillesse du staff au restaurant , décoration des chambres. Une famille d’impalas squatte la pelouse du restaurant ainsi que des singes et des écureuils très sympas! On voit que les animaux ont beaucoup d’espace à vivre dans cette réserve .

Guide: Our guide was Stefan, who is brilliant in tracking and providing information. We saw four of the big five, didn't see the Leopard, but hardly surprising as they are an elusive and solitary animal. We saw Cheetah mother with her two cubs, White Rhino with young calf and Giraffe with young calf. And so many other animals and experiences. Room: I was in room 38. It was light and airy. The bed and pillows were of the utmost comfort. The room was always kept spotless by my cleaning team (Brother and Sister). Loved the shower. Gardens: Always immaculate and colourful. Gardeners constantly tending to the grounds, which had lots of animals in residence. Restaurants: Food was superb, whether in the Boma (outside restaurant) or the main restaurant. Lots of choice at each meal. Bar: Was always manned, with wide choice of drinks included within the inclusive deal. On the day of the England Japan game, the bar Manager kept the bar open til the end of the game at 11:00PM. Very flexible and thoughtful. Pool: Yes, the pool is abit cold, but do take swimming trunks, as it's worth having a few dips or even a swim. Nice environment and the bar here is good too. Staff: The staff make this place! Every single member of staff was pleasant and friendly. Couldn't do enough for you. They always had a smile to share. Expectations: Expectations were by far exceeded in all respects! I spoke to many in my party who had been on many safari's and they are thought the Mabula Game reserve is the best. This place hooks you. Simply loved it here. Oh, I forgot to mention I travelled solo and still had a great time for all the reasons above. Thankyou to my travelling chums in Safari Cruiser 17.

We had such an amazing time at Mabula. Matimba Our guide for our stay was Matimba and he was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the reserve and the animals that live upon it. His tracking skills were unbelievable and we managed to see so many animals when our on safari. Matimba is an excellent guide and would answer any question we had. Accommodation Our room was perfect size for just me and husband staying. My only suggestion would be I wish we had cheat of drawers or some place better to store our clothes as I felt the clothes being on show made room look messy - I did massively overpack though!!! Although our Maid always did a great job at tidying and cleaning the room every day I do feel bad she had to sort out clothes too. Food I loved the food at Mabula. The restaurant was beautiful and grand to sit in. I loved the selection of something different every day. My personal favourites are breakfast omelette, soup and oxtail. The staff in the restaurant work so so hard and it’s a job I could never do. John, Eric, Eddie and Sarah looked after us so well and I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. Nadine Nadine at Reception and front of house could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect and booked our extra excursions on our behalf. We absolutely loved quad biking and she definitely went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. Overall thoughts I loved our stay at Mabula and we are already planning our return journey.

We stayed for a week at Mabula Lodge with Saga. The lodge exceeded all expectations. Clean modern room, excellent choice of superb quality food and friendly helpful staff. Apollo our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we saw as many animals as possible, going the extra mile to give us the best experience. We saw all the big five except the elusive leopard. We also saw a cheetah and her cubs, and rhino and hippos with their young. We had very close viewings of many animals including the lions.

Fantastic safaris. Saw the big 5. The accommodation was also very good. Air conditioned. Nice big twin bedded room, with fridge plenty of bottled water. An easy to use safe, hair dryer. Lovey hot showers. We were in room 66, quite a long walk but once we remembered the way it was easy! Lovely swimming pool BUT it hadn't warmed up, we tried it once but was really cold. Nice surroundings, with a bar. This was an all inclusive holiday. The food was good but sadly never hot enough. There was plenty of choice and the hot food was on induction warmers so there was no reason for the food to be tepid or cold. I wasn't the only one to complain, such a shame. It did get resolved but it was a shame for us. The jeep drivers were very good and very informative and so observant. They looked down on the road and they looked at it like it was a road map. EG the rhinos went this way, or lions that way, even smaller animals, incredible. Our room had a light problem, the main light above the beds came on every night at 23.00,the 03.00 and 07.00, occasionally 05.00 as well. I couldn't get back to sleep. I reported it most days and eventually on our last night it go repaired at 21.00 and I had my first uninterrupted full night's sleep! Most annoying. The Saga rep wasn't very informative. I highly recommend this holiday. It was so nice to be collected from home and taken to Heathrow airport and met on my return.

Accomodation, hygiene, personnel: everything was fantastic. Amazing experience at Mabula Game Lodge. The food was excellent, there was a lot of choice. Every day other things were made. The safari was fantastic. We went on 7 safari's and saw 4/5 of the big 5.

Beau séjour familial (2x2) ! Cadre agréable et personnel attentionné. Repas savoureux et diversifiés sous forme de buffets. Beaucoup d’animaux observés lors des safaris. A recommander pour les familles. Thank’s to the best guide Jimmy !
