麥迪遜廣場酒店(The Madison Concourse Hotel)

I was not pleased with my check-in or check-out service. The guest service was supposed to be superb at this location per their own information. After hiking through the larger vehicle ramp with our belongings and arriving at the front entrance, we were not greeted by anyone at all. We were ignored by both guest service providers. I stepped up to the service counter and was checked in, only to find that our room number was not given to us or written anywhere once we arrived at the floor we were told to go to. I then had to return back to the lobby and leave my family sitting in the hallway with all of our things. The room was clean for the most part, except the leftover hairs in the shower. The linens were fantastic though! The pool area was clean, but had a very strong chlorine smell and the hot tub was over flowing with foam, which leads me to believe the ph levels were dangerously off. The door to the room had a large gap when closed which was very uncomfortable since people could literally see inside it they looked through. We left very early in the morning, and headed down to the lobby where we were rudly ignored by two different guest service providers. I again had to approach them and asked if we could use the express check out or if they'd prefer us to check out right then. They both looked at me clueless. I redirected my question to the other gentlemen who shrugged and said that should be fine. We received better customer service at the Khalahari the night before.

I stayed for 10 days at this supposed luxury hotel for 10 days. Staff was non responsive, not friendly at all. I had a few issues and all I got was stone face, no resolutions, no apologies. My room was cleaned twice while I was there. Day 2 and Day 4, that was it. They said every other day. I complained, I was told I was scheduled for the day. They didn’t show up. And no, I didn’t have the “Do Not Disturb” sign up. The bedding was old and didn’t fit the bed properly, the edge kept on sliding up. I figured that they would address it in the 10 days I was there but since they didn’t service the room after Day 4, it never was addressed. There was a problem in my payment but it was resolved. If you have a large vehicle, I would be careful in the parking lot. It took someone in a Suburban about 5 minutes to turn around.

They charge for parking and the pool and hot tub were closed. That was not disclosed ahead of time at booking. If I’m staying and paying for a high end hotel I expect the amenities that are advertised to b in working order.

On August 19, 2023 I was a guest at hotel. I have been a guest over the last several years. I received a text message which state of the following: Good Morning Jessica. Thank you for staying with us. You could skip the line and check out here ( https://go.getfetch.ca/wxJNE6 ) when you are ready. Use it anytime before 11amand the receipt will be e-mailed to you. Have a safe trip home! At no point did the message state that I had to leave the room if I chose this option. It just clearly stated that I could skip the line if I elected to check out through this option. I chose this option I knew I had the room until 11. I went back to the room I took a shower, and while I was in the shower, thestaff entered my room. It frightens me no one knocked or announced themselves. I was in a very vulnerable position and upset me greatly. When I called the front desk, supervisor Shane was extremely nasty, vile, and condescending. He told me that it was my fault, and that once I chose that option that I had to leave the room immediately.No where in the text message does it indicate that if I chose that option i had to exit the room. He ignored the fact that the staff entered my room without permission while i was in the shower. I was terrified and he did nothing to rectify the situation. He threatened to call the police on me. I have never in my life been spoken to by a hotel customer service person let alone a supervisor. I am appalled by this behavior and it got even worse

I still haven't received my money on my card from trying to order another night

The staff was amazing. I had some pretty unique requests as I was a vendor at a conference at the hotel. They helped me with everything and made my stay a dream.

No trolleys or bellhop to assist with luggage. Next morning after walking from parking garage down the street, saw 2 people returning the trolleys apparently kept them overnight in their room. We are military transiting the country lots of luggage. Tow trailer couldn’t park in the hotel garage, had to park in the public garage down down the street. The receptionist were nice just not enough of them. Bartender and restaurant great. Had two free drinks, forgot to use in the bar. Asked to get bottle water and soda from small store as checking out and was told no.

Love the location & the fact they will shuttle you a 1-2 mile radius; governors club floor is wonderful!😊
