19號路客棧(Route 19 Inn)

I read lots of reviews before I picked this hotel. It was the only hotel in the area that didn’t have bad reviews. For the most part our stay was great and we would stay here again if we are ever back in the area. It’s the closest hotel to the ski resort and the tubing which was really nice. The rooms are spacious enough for a family but the bathroom is small. The bed wasn’t the best as ours had a big hole that sunk in but compared to some hotels it was comfortable and the rest of the family had comfortable beds. It’s got cute little retro appliances. Extra covers was provided in room which is alway nice. The heat/air unit didn’t work the best in our room the heat kept going cold but the other room is was good. There is no full size mirror in the room which wasn’t a big deal but I know that’s a must for some so wanted to add that. Also, not many plug ins for phones or other things. The outside of the hotel is cute, decorated nicely. There is a nice play area for kids, as well as a creek you can walk up to. Complimentary coffee and snacks in the office. We dealt with Angela and she was great!! Highlight of the trip was we seen an elk right outside at the property. It was clean and a good price. Definitely give this place a try when you stay in Maggie Valley.

The owners are doing an excellent job of revitalizing this 1950's motor inn. We would stay again!!

Loved this property! Very unique place to stay, just a couple comments. There are enough plugins that are handy - I needed to recharge my nebulizer - and the plugins that were available, were very loose and didn't hold the plug very tightly. We did discover on our last day that the sheets had stains on them (at least, we hope they were stains). Enjoyed hearing the creek running at night. Enjoyed the displays outside (50s car, teepee). Definitely would stay here again!

It was a great stay. We loved all of the retro decor inside and out. It was a fun stay, and we plan to return. Also, the staff were so helpful and nice.

It was amazing! We love it. And we will be going back to Route 19 Inn again soon.

Charming, small retro motel on the quiet side of the Smokies. Watch out for elk crossing Route 19 while returning from the park at night!

This is one of the best motels I have stayed in in a while.

Everything was great! I enjoyed the hometown feel and the friendliness of the staff. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
