億萬富翁度假村及度假屋(Billionaire Resort & Retreat Malindi)

das hotel ist recht schoen. keine richtig gute essensauswahl. die lage ist gut. das personal ausgesprochen hoeflich und freundlich. zwei von mir stornierte tage wirden mir gutgeschrieben. das gesamte essen in meiner zeit von 5 tagen wurde mir nicht angerechnet. das war sehr groszuegig!

If you’re looking for a tourist trap, Billionaire Resort & Retreat / Lion in the Sun is the place to go to. Hotel was half closed, therefore the access to the beach / Billionaire resort - beach bar, pool and restaurant were not possible but instead we got driven to a local pizza beach bar. Still we had to pay the full price and we were only inform of this situation when we asked to go to the second part (even thought the booking was made directly with the hotel and was supposed to include all services…) Room condition and especially the shower isn’t at the standing of the price you have to pay for this hotel. Food isn’t great, I’m not sure how you can miss a chicken curry & rice but they did.. 30/40 minutes wait each morning for the breakfast for a scramble egg and half avocado even thought we were the first or only customer at that time. Various food or cocktail on the menu were not available, and when you order a cocktail and go check on the status of it 40 minutes after they tell you they can’t make it because they do not have ice.. Additionally, the “owner/manager” being rude to his staff in front of all the costumer during breakfast and dinner time.. this is completely unprofessional.. Last but not least, the hotel taxi prices are out of this world… 3 to 4 time more expensive than local taxies - they are charging 10 000 KES for trip to Malindi when a local taxi will ask you maximum 5 000 KES. Airport transport is 3 500 KES vs 800 KES with a local transport.. Definitely NOT a place I would recommend to stay.

Oggi mi sono recato con degli amici al tanto decantato BILLIONAIRE DI MALINDI, come primo impatto tutto perfetto, accolti da una gentilissima ragazza che ci ha fatto accomodare ad un tavolo quasi perfetto. Il bello è iniziato quando ci siamo recati al buffet privo di tutto. Mancavano i primi, i secondi e quando dico tutto dico tutto. LE MOSCHE, erano in abbondanza. I primi (solo dei ravioli) sono arrivati con comodo e solo per quattro persone, aspettavamo altri due amici e al telefono gli abbiamo detto di andare altrove. Contorni inesistenti, pollo "FINITO" c'erano 4 avanzi. Dopo insistente richiesta sono arrivati 8 spiedini di pesce, ed abbiamo dovuto attendere la cottura 15 minuti, dimenticavo a sovrintendere il tutto c'è un responsabile "Italiano", persona inutile. Non vado oltre tutta una pena. Arriva il conto QUELLO SI CHE ONORA IL POSTO ED IL NOME - ci hanno inchiappettato 3.000,00 Schellini a testa ed abbiamo bevuto solo acqua. 3.000,00 Schellini e quivalgono a 21,00 € per non msngiate niente e da schifo. Al momento di pagare anche la ragazza che ci ha accolto all'arrivo era imbarazzata, il responsabile di sala non si è più visto. UN CONSIGLIO SPASSIONATO ANDSTE A MANGIARE DA QUALSIASI ALTRA PARTE MA NON AL BILLIONAIRE DI BRIATORE

The ambience is really what you're paying for here. The food and drinks were a bit bland, yet they are served at a very high price compared to other resorts you could visit and get better and tastier food. Again, what you're really paying for is the ambience.

Beautiful rooms, styled for space. The beach is superb. Staff friendly. A very comfortable stay when travelling in large groups. This coastal location is a must visit, tropical palms and fresh sea air. Breakfast and dinner from the billionaires restaurant is picturesque

Worst hospitality ever experienced understaffed rude behaviour of manager beach front property closed for renovation and no information shared for the same on the website just cheating attitude horrible food repetition of menu for all three days

Good ambience, friendly and very helpful staff, tasty food; everything is top notch 👌🏽. I highly recommend Billionaires Malindi; I had a great time and would definitely go back. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Nothing to say except that this place is breathtaking! My fiancé and I arrived at Lions in the Sun after a week safari looking to relax after a long and intense year 2022. Everything to the smallest details has been thought to maximise the experience and make our stay very pleasant.The staff was great and played an important role in making this trip as awesome as it was! Our thanks to them! We also enjoyed some of the great trea**ents the SPA has to offer! If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place where to relax, THIS IS IT! Definitely a place we will visit again!

Siamo stati al billionaire per pranzo e passarci una giornata. Per evitare malintesi ho chiesto via WhatsApp informazioni. Costo per lettini ksh 1000 pp, con uso spiaggia e piscina. All' arrivo ci viene comunicato che si può far il bagno soltanto al mare, che è inaccessibile. (vedi foto) La piscina è riservato per i residenti. Dopo aver parlato con Carlo, ci è stato abbonato il costo dei lettini, e offerto un caffè. Il pranzo era ok, con una buona pizza croccante e sottile. Peccato che nel conto, communque il costo dei lettini era nuovamente inserito. Per fortuna che ci eravamo accorti. Successivamente, prima di andare via, è stato richiesto nuovamente il saldo dei lettini....... C'è ovviamente qualche problema di comunicazione. Non ne vale la pena andarci, senza uso della piscina!
