爛花溪別墅(Burnt Creek Cottages)

Absolutely beautiful experience. Lovely cabin, wood fire and the views from the lounge room and balcony outstanding. The Lake and mountains...just so serene..we couldn't have asked for more.

Positives: 1. Location - picturesque, secluded, with beautiful views of rolling hills and a short drive from Mansfield. 2. Spacious - two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and balcony. 3. Kitchen was fully equipped. 4. Large bathroom with a sink, plastic shower, washing machine and dryer. 5. Toiletries were provided. 6. Wood heater (wood provided at extra cost) and reverse A/C. 7. Electric blankets on the beds. Negatives: 1. Electric blanket did not work on one of the beds. 2. No Wifi. 3. Front door fly screen was broken and the door did not close properly so lots of mosquitoes were getting through, 4. Old style toilet window with a hole - it was absolutely freezing in there. 5. Given the weather was VERY cold, it would have been nice if the firewood was provided free of charge, especially because one A/C unit was not enough to warm up the whole cottage.

We were looking for a short weekend / public holiday getaway , so decided on booking Burnt Creek Cottages in Mansfield . Best decision ever . The cottages are so beautiful , well equipped with all you need for a short stay . And the view from the balcony and living room are simply amazing . We’ve got a pleasant stayed until the last night of our stayed the water run out and at night there’s no more water. So the next day morning I asked the property and they fixed the problem.they said they relies on rain water and this sometimes happen. So I suggest checking about the water prior your stay might be the good way to stay in this property.

A lovely cottage with wonderful views. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place! The living area has so many windows to take the beautiful view in, plus the balcony. I loved just sitting there enjoying the view, sheep, kangaroos etc all wander by. We stayed in the Wattle Cottage. It was very, very clean. Comfy bed, comfy couch. Nice linen and towels. Being summer the aircon was great. Had pretty much everything we needed. (A couple more kitchen supplies would be handy) The drive way is quite steep so if you are not a confident driver then you should maybe ask them if there would be someone there to assist, or pick you up from the front gates maybe. I highly recommend staying here.

Really beautiful location with views of rolling hills and wildlife. The cottage was really well equipped and the pool was great! Fits a couple of families easily. We stayed in the Correa Cottage and the view from our bed was stunning! Comes with a bbq, fully equipped kitchen, spa bath, tv, aircon/heating, and is really quiet. Careful of the driveway up as it’s loose dirt/gravel and steep. Thanks for a great stay and we’ll be coming back again!

Super clean, stunning views and the hosts are vey accommodating. You will have enough heat in the apartment.

Wonderful 3 night stay at Acacia cottage. Good location - about 12 km out of Mansfield overlooking Lake Eildon. Cottage has everything required to self cater. Good BBQ area and pool for cooling off!
