色可那尼帳篷露營酒店(Sekenani Camp Maasai Mara)

I absolutely loved my stay at Sekenani. The pictures online really don’t capture the beauty that this place holds. The architecture blends perfectly with the surroundings. If you want to connect with nature, this is the place. It’s not too far from the mara Sekenani gate and you get an absolute treat of a ride on the way there because you get to see a ton of wildlife as you go along. Beautiful sounds of nature greet you as you walk in and head towards the reception area. There’s a team at hand ready to take your bags. The welcome drink is very much appreciated as you check in and get a brief of what to expect during your stay.(thanks Dorcas! ) The privacy of the tents is to die for! The interior is beautiful, just what you need for a comfortable stay. Only thing I didn’t like was the bathtub. I’d prefer a shower… but that’s just me! I loved that there was power 24/7, meaning devices could be charged at whatever time and it’s not a struggle looking for a flashlight in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and I really appreciated the extra touch of putting a hot water bottle in the bed after sunset. It gets pretty cold at night. The food was good and the staff were exceptional. Lazaro’s customer service skills stood out. Attention to detail with a warm African touch. Keep it up! I loved the bonfire after dinner. It was an absolute pleasure to interact with other guests during my stay. Despite the camp having no fence, I appreciated the fact that the Maasai guards were always at hand to escort all guests to their respective tents whenever they were ready to retire. I never got to enjoy the pool because I forgot my swimming gear. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful marriage between modern amenities and nature. Thank you team Sekenani for an amazing experience!

It's not the easiest place to get to and the recent extended and heavy rains have proved to be very destructive to the track that leads to the camp. However, it is very much worth the effort as the place has an authentic safari feel. The staff are lovely, happy, cheerful, polite and always ready to engage in conversation that shows genuine interest; not the 'plastic' interactions that you find in some places. Out tent was spotless, well equipped and beautifully located, looking out over a small valley. And in the evenings, when we returned from diner the bed had been turned down and there were hot water bottles!! A bit strange we though, but the nights here can get a bit chilly, despite day time temperatures in the mid-20s. A variety of birds, monkeys, baboons and a whole host of passing wildlife, much of it at night only adds to the experience. A small suspension bridge links the accommodation to the dining and administration area, pretty much a unique feature that again sets Sekenani apart from others. The food is good and served with a smile. We arrived very late and hungry, lunch was over but within a few minutes we were sat down enjoying a delicious meal. There seems to be a Genet cat that makes itself at home in the dining area, and that is a great bonus, although one of the smallest cats their markings are beautiful and I would imagine they are great at keeping unwanted 'visitors' at bay. If there is one place we would go back to from our recent visit to Kenya it would be here.

El lugar en medio del bosque está muy bien,pero no se corresponden los servicios con el precio,instalaciones obsoletas. No hay enchufe en el baño con bañera antigua y peligrosa. Menú escaso, precio de bebidas exagerado El personal es muy agradable y pendiente en todo momento de los huespedes

Superbe expérience dans ce camp situé a linterieur du parc national du masai mara. Acceuil et personnel au top. Les tentes sont grandes et tres bien equipées. Depuis la terasse on a une vue sur la brousse. Quel plaisir de voir les singes, les antilopes evolués dans leur milieu naturel depuis la terasse ou de croiser un éléphant en allant au restaurant. On est d'ailleurs accompagné par un masaï lors de chacun de nos déplacements. Les petits dejeuners et les repas etaient tous trés bons on a vraiment apprécie. Cest experience unique au coeur de la nature. Nous conseillons ce camp sans hésitation.

Nous avons séjourné dans ce lodge pendant 2 nuits en janvier 2021. Nous avons tellement aimé la réserve du masai Mara que nous sommes revenus en août 2022. Nous avons décidé de revenir au camp de Sekenani pour 3 nuits. L'endroit est paisible et très calme. Les chambres ont une très belle vue. Le restaurant est bon, le chef a réussi à adapter mon menu selon mes envies "no green". Le pique-nique était vraiment sympa. Et bien sûr, les gens ici sont tellement adorables !!! Merci beaucoup à Natalie, James, Marc, Lazare, Joseph... et au gérant !! Ils étaient si gentils avec nous. La route pour y aller n'est pas parfaite mais une fois arrivé vous avez la télé de la savane avec des zèbres, des cobes Defassa, des girafes et même des éléphants ! Bien sûr, nous reviendrons ici pour notre prochaine aventure Masai! À quoi s'attendre: les lits sont confortables, la chambre est agréable. La salle de bain pourrait être peut-être renouvelée mais tout est ok. Vous avez l'électricité le soir et le matin. Le WIFI est disponible à la réception. Les crêpes du petit déjeuner sont super bonnes !! La soupe du dîner est vraiment bonne (et je n'aime pas la soupe) Le petit plus sympa : en rentrant dans votre tente après le dîner vous aurez le plaisir de trouver une bouillotte dans votre lit pour le réchauffer !!

Este tented Camp esta genial. En pleno parque De Masái Mara. Campamento pequeño, discreto, y muy acogedor. Con tiendas separadas, en plena naturaleza, con animales junto a las tiendas. (Se acercó un leon al restaurante). Personal muy amable y simpático. Comida muy buena. Un camp genial sin duda.

de lodges hebben alles wat je nodig hebt op 'safari'. Wij hadden een heel goede gids/chauffeur (Simon) die ons alles kon vertellen over de dieren en het leven van de Masai. 's Avonds bij het kampvuur ongedwongen napraten met elkaar/andere gasten en genieten van wat er die dag allemaal is gebeurd. Enig nadeel is dat de lodge wat verder wegligt van de 'route'.

Wonderful accommodation nestled among the shrubs and trees. It is one of the few camps that has a bath as part of the facilities. The meals are menu based and very enjoyable. While having dinner we got a visit from a Small Spotted Genet. All the Staff are very helpful and friendly especially the manager Grace. The only minor fault is the road to the camp which is very bumps.

We booked sekenani camp for 3 nights ..as we entered the sound of nature will amaze you. Very welcoming staff. This camp is in between dence forest. The dining area is super cool and kitchen staff are so friendly specially chef as vegetarian i enjoyed meal and their efforts. The manager Grace is very cooperative and friendly. The tent is comfortable. Highly recommend
