Quiet, well maintained and the staff / service was excellent.

Enjoyed recent 4 day staycation away from the real world. So glad I decided to come here instead of the higher priced resorts/wellness retreats in Austin. Minute I entered my room, felt the tensions/stress/worries of life released while looking at the sunset overlooking the pool area. HBR must've done a major reno as everything in my room was modern, comfortable, stylish. Only had 1 dinner at Waterfront, one the resort's many restaurants as I wanted to checked out HB and Marble Falls. The staff were all so welcoming, helpful and could see that they enjoyed working at HBR. Enjoyed walking the trails around the resort, felt safe and lots to see! Hope to return some day soon!

People were absolutely friendly, golf was awesome, food selection could be improved, although I did not venture to the waterfront restaurant

This property seemed very outdated and old. The food however was very delicious. Yes they were great in that aspect, then again if you are paying $30 for breakfast per person the food better be amazing! The only amenities that did not require payment was the gym and the “heated” pools/jacuzzi-all 3 were broken and out of service. The sight has some very nice views towards the marina and the golfing looked quite interesting but that’s about it. They have a nice put-out golf area, however it’s $25 per person.. the staff was pretty nice however, very little communication. I was just expecting a lot more from a resort that charges nearly $300 a night. I did go in the low season and on a Sunday… still I’m pretty sure I won’t be going back. Much better resorts in the $300 range.

It was just okay - perfectly acceptable but we did have some issues with the water being very very hot one night and the room service food we ordered was bafflingly horrible. But all in all, we would probably stay here again so long as there’s still some kind of deal on ******* as it’s definitely not worth paying full price for as the amenities haven’t been properly updated in years.

Great visit, beautiful property, and very walkable within the resort. The staff were friendly & hospitable.

Nice place. Great for gold, rest, and relaxation. Feels a little dated but the location and Hill Country, and golf options make it worth it.

Wonderful check-in experience all due to the warming and most inviting welcome of the receptionist.
