聖地海灘度假酒店(Sanctuary Beach Resort)

Chambre très agréable même si j'avais réservé une chambre avec vue côte et qu'en fait on apercevait de très loin la mer puisque nous étions au 2eme niveau et RDC. De plus l'hôtel est éloigné des zones agréables de commerce et semble être situé dans une zone très brumeuse

Just a short stay but wanted to make it special. Booked PANORAMIC Oceanfront room. Sitting on the patio, thought we would see the ocean....SAND built up and all we could see was sand. Stand up on toes, could see a little more. Other rooms were more level with the ground. Ours was NOT. Can't wait to share this as we were envying other rooms who really had panoramic ocean view. Paid way too much to sit on patio and only hear the ocean.

It was so very disappointing. I have LOVED the Sanctuary for years! This visit was AWFUL. The sheets smelled dirty and were so scratchy I had to wear my clothes to bed. Nothing was provided for purchase as a snack option. The room was in desperate need of renovation. The carpets, the slider, the bed all needed to be tossed! So so sad.

Great location but the staff were very unwelcoming and rude. I had wanted to leave the window open to hear the surf but the staff repeatedly insisted on keeping bright lights on the bocce court outside our villa even though no one was playing bocce at night. The light was blinding. Every night I had to call and plead to have the lights turned off. I was told that they had to stay on until 10 p.m. even though the posted rules were until 8pm. The pool was very shallow and not square so it was hard to swim in. Very disappointing.

I like the location of this resort. The beach is pristine and undeveloped. They had nice adirondak chairs to view the ocean and bonfires in the evenings. I did not like our "ocean view" room which had only a sliver of ocean in sight if you stood up. I did like that they gave us a better room when we told them we didn't like our room but that room only viewed the distant water without waves because the hotel is lower than the sand. I did not like that the bathtub plug didn't work and there wasn't a microwave or hotpot for water. There was a coffee maker with limited coffees to put in it. This was an expensive room ($340 per night) and not worth that. I also didn't like that when we checked in they said they would bill us another $104 in case we ordered breakfast in our room. That was a confusing communication as it turned out they didn't charge it.

I picked this hotel cause we were in need of some rest. The receptionist that happened to check me in didnt have a clue what she was doing. First she almost gave me someone else's room key. Even though she had my credit card and id in front of her. Her co worker had to correct her. After getting to my room to rest. The phone kept ringing. It turns out to be the manager stating that i didnt pay a deposit. Which i had. He figures out that the receptionist had placed my credit card on someone elses room. Now im starting to worry about what im going to be charged for this room. Then on my last day after shopping i decided to go back to the room. I find that im locked out of my room. And have to wait outside with my purchases for new keys. The receptionist had made yet another mistake and did not set the room keys for the appropriate dates. Maybe sanctuary isnt a good name for this hotel. I came back from vacation more stressed then when i left.

The staff upfront weren’t nice or pleasant. Also as a VIP ******* I was suppose to get a free wine bottle but never got it. Again the staff in the front reception was unfriendly. The location is great but the overall establishment was worn.

I like the view , but I don’t like they allow dogs inside the rooms

Really great resort in a surprising location! The restaurant was really good and the staff was wonderful.
