Crowne Plaza 伯明翰(Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC)

Service was as always very good. Room was ridiculously hot and we couldn’t turn the heating off unless we turned all the power off including the lights. They brought us a fan though and we couldn’t have expected more as it was very late at night by the time we got back to the room

Very well located hotel close to various amenities such as shops, restaurants and a cinema. Also close to transport routes. Enjoyed dinner and decent selection at breakfast.

Need up dating

Dated room with plugs to one side of the bed only. Questionable white stain on one chair rendered it unusable. Lighting in the bathroom is to dim to use the mirror for applying makeup or shaving. By far the worst element of our stay was the bed. It was like sleeping on an air bed in respect to the amount of movement from the other person. When they turned over or got up, the other person was woken up by the violent shaking and bouncing of the bed. Most definitely not a 4 star room.

I’ve stayed with Crowne Plaza a few times in different locations and this would have to be the poorest. I was moved rooms 3 times due to faulty lighting and lighting controls. The next room had the AC on continuously blowing and it was unbearably cold. When asked how to turn it down, reception stated none of the AC panels in any room worked and it was controlled from the ‘back’ which isn't great. Cleaniness was ok, it could have been better e.g dirty sheets in one of the rooms and stains on the floor/walls. Overall was a mediocre stay, staff were friendly, good location but don’t think i’d come here again.

Have been staying at the Crowne Plaza for business reasons for the last 12 years and the hotel continues to deliver.
