MV hotel had a beachy vibe style, comfortable, conveniently located to beach, restaurants and shopping. Staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Nice lodging esp if traveling with your pet.

Everything was great except for the hot water for the shower. There were 2 of us staying and the hot water only lasted about 2 minutes. Not very happy about that.

MV Surfside motel makes me take a step back in time to the older beach motels of years ago. It is on the older side but is super quaint and extremely clean. We had an end room that had a view of the ocean and of town it was outstanding and will be where I stay if I ever make it back to Martha’s Vineyard. The staff were courteous and friendly and the gardens were beautiful. A lot of love and pride goes into this little gem of a motel that reminds me so much of simpler times.

We only stayed here one night as we were checking into a vacation rental when the whole family arrived the next day. The property is quite and clean. Be aware that some rooms do not have a view; you get what you pay for. The best part was the location and walkability.

when we arrived around noon, our room was ready which we were very happy about, but big disappointment when we saw the room. They gave us the the worst room they had with only 1 small 2x2 widow surrounded by walls with practically no sunlight coming in and had no choice but turn on light during day time. We told front desk we could not stay in that room and they said they had another room that we would prefer but at $140 with tax or $200 CA This one was much better with lots of sunlight and we said this is good, but then they said that this the only room available and we had to pay the upgrade. This really look like that is a practice they do to get you to pay the upgrade

The MV Surfside Hotel is very well located in the town of Oak Bluffs near the shopping and restaurants, beach, and the historic sites. The staff was welcoming and caring. I look forward to staying there again.

Loved the quiet atmosphere. Loved the courtyard garden. The location is perfect. The staff was super friendly.
