The room itself was decent. Clean.The location was convenient to Glacier NP. However, the older gentleman (owner/clerk/proprietor?) running the place had a distinctly creepy vibe. Would not stay again.

We stayed in the Black Bear Cabin in Hungry Horse, MT for one week in Aug. '23. It looks good but: 1) The beds in two of the bedrooms were so high could have used a step stool to get into them and lumpy and not very comfortable once I did! 2) Had to monitor the toilet every time it was flushed to make sure it would stop running. If we hadn't done this, it probably would have overflowed the septic tank in a week. 3) The deck on the back is an absolute hazard, especially for seniors and children. Uneven boards all over it, no railing anywhere around it and is 3 to 4 feet above the ground. It's an accident waiting to happen. Not at all what you would expect for over $3,000.00 for one week. Kitchen was okay, except for the refrigerator door being backwards.

Amazing! My family loved everything about this place…if we go back to Glacier, this is where we will stay again. Great location, super clean, and friendly staff!

Although the room was very small, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Laundry facility is onsite and convenient.

We loved beargrass. We had a nice cabin with multiple rooms, a playground and heated pool. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

The people working here are very nice. The room is clean and feels new.

What a great little place to stay. I have been staying in a lot of places lately and they are just missing the mark on smell. This smelled fresh and clean the minute we walked into the room. The room was a little small, but really cute. Pool is nice, and we will definitely be back.

We loved our 2 bedroom cabin at Beargrass. The room was very clean and comfortable and the owner that helped us was very kind and informative about Glacier National Park. The hotel was priced well and only 10 minutes from the west entrance of GNP

Bear Grass is exceptionally clean, with close proximity not only to Glacier Park, but also nearby communities and attractions. There were adequate electronics outlets as well as accessible ones. The shower and beds exceeded expectations. There were many options for dining and shops. Best of all, the proprietors, the Byrd Family, are over the top with care and customer service. We enjoyed our stay and encourage all to check it out!
