高地公園酒店(Highfield Park)

I stayed for a night there and I left the next morning. In the afternoon I received an e-mail from Rebecca Smith the Sales and Operations Manager that I left without paying for breakfast and to contact the hotel to settle the bill. As I did not consume anything during my stay I called back immediately to clarify. I tried to speak to her but she dismissed me being rude and patronizing informing me that she reported me to *******. She was saying that she personally served me that morning and that I gave her my room number. I asked for permission from work and I took a taxi back to set the things straight hoping when she sees me she will realize she has made a mistake. I arrived there accompanied by one of my colleagues I told the receptionist who I was and in the meantime a couple arrived looking for the same Rebecca Smith. When she arrived she looked at all four of us and asked who had the wedding meeting. So she never recognized me I had to introduce myself in order for her to understand who I was. She became defensive when I asked her if I was the person who served in the morning and she hesitated and she still said that It was me. Obviously I asked for a CCTV, to see where I signed, or anything that can prove that it was me anywhere near that restaurant. She couldn’t prove any of these stating that it’s the guests’ privacy. So according to that anyone can do anything in that hotel. All this time she was speaking to us as if we were thieves, very dismissive and kept repeating that she did not have time for us that she had more important meetings and that she had already told me on the phone not to come because she was gonna report me to ******* anyway. I also asked her who comes at their own expense to clarify a situation if they were guilty of what she accused me for. She replied that she was a manager for 10 years and she knows how people are leaving without paying. At that point we left I decided to take it further with my company and her manager. My company has already removed Highfield Park from their partners list and I am currently waiting for a reply from her manager. Just be aware of this person when you decide to book a room or an event or to do anything at this hotel.

Prosecco Afternoon Tea , vey highly recommended. Hannah and the team make you feel very welcome and were very friendly and accommodating . The food and drink were lovely, a good selection and very fresh sandwiches, cakes and scones. The location which was overlooking acres of land, was stunning!

It was Ok, a bit dated and felt grubby. Virtually no external lighting or visible signage made for a precarious route to and from the main building. So many hidden potholes and puddles. Room was ok, very noisy and too hot, but passable.

Tired hotel with staff that could care less. I arrived at 8pm to be told that the kitchen was closed and I had been emailed and telephoned - neither had actually happened. The burgundy chair in my room was black with dirt- not sure how this is acceptable at all. There is a sign in reception asking guests to wear a face mask, however staff don’t do this?

What a fantastic Sunday Lunch celebrating with my family. The food was superb. Beautifully presented and delicious. The tables were laid beautifully and decorated with fresh flowers. We were in the Wellington Room which was just perfect. Staff were excellent. Highfield Park is set in fantastic grounds with stunning views. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Superb! Beautiful building in a beautiful rural location. I had a comfortable double room in the main house with warm, quiet, clean and very comfortable. Stayed here many times. Staff always helpful and consistent quality. Convenient from both the M3 and M4.

Good price for simple room in lovely location with helpful staff. Bar food expensive for simple food but would recommend for affordable stay.

Dissapointing afternoon tea despite initially looking appealing . Was bought by my kids for Xmas, have had afternoon tea here before and it was lovely. This time not so. Cakes were frozen and not fresh, still frozen in the middle. The scones were chewy and despite the offer of unlimited tea and coffee there was never a staff member around to ask for it! Had to go hunting in the main restaurant to get one. The coffee looked more like dishwater, infact the only nice thing was probably my latte. There were 2 other couples here today and both left leaving half the food which speaks volumes.
