Generally, the apartment was very tidy (and kept that way throughout my 10 night stay semi regularly) and great to have a room with a small kitchen and modern laundry facilities in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Also a lap pool available. Reception was very friendly and helpful.
... BUT when you are selling yourself as an apartment and a hotel, you expect a few things - at least a couple of everything with kitchen cutlery, bowls, plates, etc... Hand towels, face washers, dishwashing detergent, etc... I shouldn't have to ask for this - this is a real basic minimum expectation.
Sadly, there were quite a few broken things in the room that need to be looked at (something that wasn't worth mentioning during my stay) - old TV that randomly turned off with a remote that was broken, blinds that didn't roll up properly and were breaking at the sides and mould on the upper window. There must have been a flood at some point in the bathroom as the doorway has swelled up with a door that doesn't close properly and a washing machine that leaks (I actually cleaned the filter myslef and it stopped, ha ha). Lastly, a very minor thing but the circuitry for the lights was quite unbelievable as there were switches everywhere but you needed certain ones to be on, to turn others on...
I was fortunate that I got this room at a discounted rate prior but even then it wasn't really worth the money that I paid - if I had paid the normal rate, I would have been asking for a serious discount.
