郵政餐廳酒店(Hotel Restaurant Zur Post)

Ich hatte im März auf Facebook gelesen, dass einige Zimmer renoviert wurden, daher habe ich per Mail angefragt und für meinen Sohn und mich welche reserviert. Anlass war meine Geburtstagsfeier auf der Donau mit weiteren Familienmitgliedern und Freunden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön geworden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Falls ich Melk wieder besuchen würde, würde ich definitiv wieder dort buchen.

Bella stanza, ampia e confortevole, eccellente pulizia, ottima e varia la prima colazione di gran qualità. Abbiamo deciso di cenare nel ristorante dell'hotel, tra l'altro segnalato in diverse guide. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo: qualità ottima e servizio curato. Insomma, un bel soggiorno in questa piccola cittadina dove si visita la splendida Abbazia che si raggiunge facilmente a piedi. Al termine del soggiorno, dall'1 al 2 gennaio, la gentilissima proprietaria ci ha regalato una piantina di quadrifoglio, decorata con il simbolico spazzacamino , quale tradizionale buon augurio per il Nuovo Anno. Una deliziosa attenzione per gli ospiti, che abbiamo molto apprezzato.

Hôtel qui est largement surcôté et dont les photos d'accroche sont des leurres pour nombre des chambres proposées. La chambre que nous occupions était exigue. wc non séparé de la salle de bain. Décoration sommaire et vieillotte. Pas de climatisation et en pleine été c'est intenable. La vue en RDC sur le parking derrière l'hôtel ne rajoute en rien à l'avis sur cet établissement. Le petit déjeuner était correct et copieux, sans plus. Personnel accueillant et sympathique.

We had an excellent stay at Zur Post. The room was comfortable and bigger than anticipated. The breakfast was a real highlight - don’t miss the apricot cake or the homemade apricot jam. We also used the bikes to ride on the south bank of the Danube. The ride was beautiful going on the river and winding through vineyards and orchards. Make sure to stop at a heuriger or two along the way.

I didn’t have a booking, but arrived late morning, drawn by the sunny yellow facade. The reception lady was so very pleasant, and couldn’t help me enough. She awarded me a beautiful room with a view of the abbey! I stayed for a delicious dinner in a garden setting, and enjoyed the extensive and scrumptious breakfast. Kudos to Hotel Zur Post. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Sehr freundliche und rasche Bedienung, mitten am Hauptplatz in Melk, schöner Schattenplatz im Schanigarten, guter Kaffee, gutes Eis, Preise in Ordnung, Kommen gerne wieder, Essen sehr gut und ausreichend, Getränke gut gekühlt, allgemein sehr nettes Personal

Wir hatten hier ein sehr angenehmes Doppelzimmer mit Klimaanlage. Service war freundlich. Auch das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Allerdings war es relativ teuer. Wir haben circa 185 € für ein Doppelzimmer bezahlt. Das finde ich etwas teuer dafür, was geboten wird.

This was our 3rd visit over the past 10 years, a great place to stay while exploring this scenic section of the Danube. The food is great, and the Ebners and staff are charming. Our rooms were large and comfortable. Our baths were large and well appointed, with a good shower. We enjoyed their 4-course dinner offered with half-board, which included a good salad bar with plenty of choices. That set menu changed daily, offering a choice of 2 mains (meat dish or vegetarian). We enjoyed their Salzl Zweigelt, offered at an affordable price — and their Sekt by the glass — in elegant stemware. We also enjoyed their bar, and their Aperol spritzes. We highly recommend, and hope to return.

A lovely tradional hotelin the centre of the small town of Melk. Everyone was very welcoming. The room, a suite, was very large and well fitted with modern characterful furnishings. The bathroom too was very generous. The restaurant was beautiful for dinner glad we stayed in and tried it! Breakfast too was genrous. A lovely stay wish we could have stayed longer.
