梅泰裏舒眠套房旅館(Sleep Inn & Suites Metairie)

Nuestra estancia fue de 3 días, llegando el primer día nos dimos cuenta del mal aspecto de la habitación, ah! Pero antes tenían un letrero de que el elevador estaba dañado, que podíamos cancelar la estancia, cosa que debieron notificar con anticipación, no sorprender a la llegada, si son de otro estado cómo nosotros, que tomamos 23 horas en carretera para llegar, siendo muy tarde, que podrías hacer más que quedarte, pero para nuestra “dicha” teníamos habitacion en el primer piso, al entrar tenía aspecto de sucio por todos lados, el baño apestaba a cloaca, la llave de la ducha goteaba, el inodoro estaba manchado del sucio, que decir de las camas, y la gran sorpresa el sofá cama, oh Dios mío! Que cosa tan bárbara, roto, sucio, oxidado, cero confort; que nos salvó? Porque nos quedamos? La hora, la zona estaba llena por ser thanksgiving, y la persona que nos atendió en el counter fue amable y nos facilitó varios forros para hacer más confortable el colchón, más almohadas y sábanas; también íbamos a estar mucho tiempo fuera, por lo que solos sería dormir; el desayuno fue solamente huevos, salchichas ( horribles, no la comi) pan, waffles, mini yogurts, y jugos, podía ser mejor. La última noche, la tarjeta de la puerta no abrió, el personal trató de abrir con un aparato q no funcionó, mi hijo mayor estaba dentro, pero duerme cómo piedra, por lo q no pudo ayudarnos, cómo pudieron abrir, no nos dieron opción, no ofrecieron alternativas, dormimos en casa de un primo, la peor estancia

The place smells really bad, elevator broken, breakfast lies, blood on the pillow cases, stains in the shower; brownish red like old blood. Tv remote broken. Vend ding machine took money. Staff is nice. The smell is a combination of boooty, piss, cigarettes dashed with a hint of **** topped off with mildew and dirty pit stains. Really should have read the reviews before checking in here …

Lela I was awesome!! But went to room and tv didn’t work so she immediately moved us to another room, but then we checked the TV and it was broke. She said she would put an order in to have them change it out first thing in the morning which they didn’t do. Then the tub was dirty and it wasn’t a drain thing in it and the next morning I went to take a shower and there was water just pouring out of the vent and the light fixture so they did send us to another room so I can get my shower and she was able to get us a discount on the room for that.

The Sleep Inn in Metairie was fine for a 1 night stay and the price. The property is aged and there are little maintenance fixes that are needed. The room needs a new TV and shower handle. Overall, I just needed a place to sleep and the bed was comfortable and the linens were clean.

The rooms were cozy refrigerator microwave Real breakfast sausage egg juices cereal waffle grits oatmeal All cups individually wrap Everything you needed was at your hand Friendly staff and very helpful

Easy location to get in & out for a quick visit to the area. We like this spot for weekend getaways to/from the downtown New Orleans area. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud.

The staff were friendly. The parking spots are narrow like the rest of the town. The building is old and could use an update. The sink and tub did not have covers for the piping.

The elevator was inoperable and I had to walk up the stairs, etc. There was NO smoke detector in the room in violation of state Fire Codes!!!

I did at the front desk for 5 mins before anyone came up and was also told that we would be on the 5th floor and the elevator doesn’t work.
