OYO紹斯波特中心龍舌蘭鄧林酒店(OYO Tequila and Dunlin Rooms Southport Central)

We stayed at OYO Tequila rooms for 1 night.. needless to say we will not be returning. There were what seemed to be locals inside of the hotel arguing and shouting at each other all night. Our room was dirty, and the whole place smelt of cigarettes. Parking was limited and there was no other parking nearby. After the honestly terrifying (and sleepless!) night we spent here, we left as early as possible in the morning. Would not recommend at all.

Me and my boyfriend booked for a couple of nights because it's dog friendly. There is no charge for dogs but it's a bit more expensive. Car parking wasn't a problem. The room (which was their best one as we were told) was actually bigger than the one we'd booked. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was only one bedside table and no lamps. We had to leave the bathroom light on at night. The location was handy for everything we wanted to do. We decided on the last day to stay another night. They sent us to another OYO hotel down the road. As soon as we walked in to look at the room, a pack of dogs started barking constantly. We are both hard of hearing but they were loud. After we looked at the room, a scruffy old man that looked like a junkie came out of the room next door and began shouting at us. I couldn't understand what he was saying because he was 3 sheets to the wind. The man in charge appeared and said the room was £40 for the night. We didn't fancy staying in a crack house so we left. I've stayed in much better dog friendly places in southport with a lot more character than this place. We wouldn't stay here again. If you book, check you're staying in Tequila because Dunlin is a doss house for societies degenerates!

nothing grubbie sub standard inferior dusty only decent feature was a comfy bed but the rest eg shower room window sills coffee/tea facilities carpeting of a very low standard will certainly NOT recommend

Stayed here 2 years ago and gave it 8/10. The property has dilapidated a lot since, particularly the corridors and stair cases. The worst things about our stay was the state of the en suit bathroom, which was absolutely filthy. The toilet rim was covered with a black substance so had to clean it ourselves - no idea what it was (the pic was after flushing twice). And the toilet seat was loose. Hairs were everywhere and the shower cubicle hadn't been cleaned for a long while so wasn't used. And the fan on show wasn't working, luckily we brought our own as there was a heatwave occurring. The good bits - the lady in reception when we arrived was nice and friendly. The sink, fridge and microwave were acceptable, but for me the best thing about the apartment were the beds - very comfortable making for a good night's sleep. Also the location is ideal for exploring Southport's town centre, amusements, cafes, bars, shops and Prom.

Cheap basic accommodation just behind the town centre. Location great for town centre, rooms basic but clean. Parking is a challenge as only 4 spaces and you have to block someone in.

It was close to the amenities and had free parking. Bedding and towels were clean apart from that the mattress needs to be replaced the springs were sticking out. The carpet in the room was dirty,the shower was dirty the toilet seat was falling off. The room could do with an update. Suppose you get what you pay for.

The room smelt strongly of smoke and it wasn't very clean. We ended up walking out and not even staying there

We arrived at the address given but was told we would be staying further up the street i didnt realise that this was 2 seperate places one is tequila and other dunlin we got a free parking space outside but as a warning i would advise anyone who parks to take paper and pen with you to put your phone number on car dadhboard incase you block anyone in.the dunlin as no reception only tequila on arrival it was far better than i thought due to some really bad reviews the front door seemed constantly open the entrance caroet needed cleaning but whilst inside the carpet on staircase looked fairly new and decoration was clean.our room was quite big with 2 double beds but did not have a fridge as mentioned on the booking the room was clean but my only complaint was there was only 2 coat hangers and neither of these could you hang triousers on pretty poor i thought but overall its ok if you want budget accomadation but dont complain if your expecting 4 star!
