Our 3-day stay was a mixture of experiences. The first night was awful and ruined our good first impression of this hotel. After I showered, I found our shower room was almost flooded due to a bad clog issue. It was 12:30 am. I called the reception and asked them if my husband can shower in another room. The receptionist said no. Then she said my husband could bring three big bottles of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner to shower in the gym... I asked to talk to the manager. The manager was very impatient and wanted to send someone to fix it at 12:30 am. I refused. Although the manager was trying to solve the problem, he didn't understand my perspective. After about 20 minutes, he finally agreed to let my husband use the shower in another room but claimed that they needed time to check if the other room was not clogged (surprise that they needed to check it considering it is a five-star hotel). After 1 am, my husband decided to give up, and he stepped into the dirty water and quickly finished his shower. When the manager finally called and said we could use the shower in another room, it was about 1:10 am, more than 30 minutes after we originally made the phone call -- and this shouldn't take this long. The first two days were also very cold -- they only had a COLD mode for A.C. in the room in December (the hotel has a central control on your A.C.; you cannot choose your own mode). Only the last day was OK because they eventually switched the heat on.

I arrived late after a gruelling eight hour bus trip and the staff quickly came over as I exited my taxi and swooshed me up to the lobby, took my bags and made me tea during my check-in process. Really wonderful thoughtful service throughout my stay. Very nice rooms, quiet, perfect location, excellent internet, excellent service overall. Really wonderful hotel and staff were beyond helpful and kind. My only complaint is the rooms are very dark, and also food portions from room service were small and overpriced. Otherwise, really enjoyed the hotel and would highly recommend.

Nice. Seems rather new. Very modern and hip to younger business type. Location is a bit out of the way if you are planning to visit the city. Everything is 20 to 30 minutes in an Uber. The traffic is heavy because of the configuration of the streets in the Condesa neighborhood. Don’t buy the breakfast buffet it’s 28$. Not worth it. But do have the breakfast pastries at Matcha cafe. Delicious and world class.

Had a terrible experience at this hotel during thanks giving holidays. Hotel rooms (I changed two rooms) were nasty and showers had hair and dirt from other guests. They didn’t even bother cleaning rooms. This hotel is super old (with new facade) and the heat system is central for the whole floor! So every two hours I had to call reception and beg them to turn the heat on and after two hours automatically switches to cool in the middle of winter. They gave me a space heater and given this building being ancient old every time I plugged in the space heater the fuse was blown! The “engineers” took a look and said two rooms share same circuit and I have to wait for other room to stop using electricity so that o can use my heater! Reception and hotel management were cold and irresponsible. They didn’t even ask about my issues at the check out. I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone who travels and cares about their comfort.

The property is very new and tries (successfully) to give have a trendy vibe. The rooms are a good size, well thought out and comfortable. The bars are fun and well thought out (although a little difficult to get to). My only issues were that the A/C unit was difficult to get to work. I had to turn it on to get it to work. It would get to the desired temperature and would turn off and would remain off until I turned it back on. So the temperature fluxuated quite a bit during the stay. This may have been user error though as it was in another language. My only other recommendation would be to provide a top sheet for the beds. With the room getting warm at night (see above), the duvet was too warm to use. Lastly there was an issue with ordering room service online (required a leading zero on the room number) which was inconvient to resolve. I see some reviews about the noise levels. I stayed on the 6th floor and the only noise issues I had were during the day (when trying to siesta) as slamming doors in the hallway kept waking me up. Overall, the staff were above expectation. And the facilities were great. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Our concierge Fernando was excellent with providing extensive recommendations and hospitality for us during our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Andaz for anyone looking to stay in a safe area with plentiful accommodations.

Property is in a convenient location within walking distance to many lovely restaurants and parks. Hotel is clean and up to date, however the pool that is marketed is very small and has only three lounge chairs to accommodate hundreds of guests. If you are planning on using your trip to lounge and relax by the pool, you will not be able to.

El estacionamiento tiene costo, la comida del restaurante planta baja es pésima, no pudimos comer en el rooftop porque ya “todo” estaba reservado (no se nos avisó que debíamos reservar), el agua de la piscina está a temperatura ambiente y es muchísima más pequeña de lo que se ve en las fotos. La parte positiva es que las instalaciones son realmente bonitas pero considero qué hay muchísimas áreas de oportunidad para poder disfrutar tu estancia.

A wonderful, helpful, friendly staff here. Unfortunately, multiple issues that will have us staying elsewhere on our next trip to Mexico City -- a lack of proper lighting in the rooms, hot water issues in the shower, a malfunctioning air conditioner, an incident where our door was left ajar during an entire afternoon after cleaning, and extremely loud guests through the early morning. We appreciate the staff willing to correct these issues, but there were just too mahy to correct.
