We booked a family room & they advised they only had doubles left, in the end it was sorted but wasn’t a great process.

The hotel was extremely dirty, moldy and not looked after. Gutter was blocked so all you could here was over flow water all night. We struggled to park to due to next door business parking everywhere and vans taking up all road and spaces. The room had a leaky toilet, mold and surfaces we're not clean. Bedding smelt of sweat and everything was grummy 😓 people we walking up and down all night. over all not a pleasant visit

Don't be put off by boarded up cafe on entering or the van hire. The hotel is quiet and the room comfortable.

On arrival you are met with a boarded up little chef and a lorry park. Very basic hotel in need of refurbishment. Room smelt a little

Whilst it doesn't look appealing outside the staff where friendly and room was tidy, beds are comfy and have extra pillows in room. Only downside was the odar of the room and it was a bit hot

If you are looking to sleep somewhere affordable, it’s spot on. It reminds me of a motel in USA where it not located in the most aesthetically pleasing surroundings, but it is priced for people who just want to put their head down and move on.

My only objection, apart from the torn and tatty chair in my room, is that it claims there is free Wi-Fi, THIS IS A LIE. What they offer is free Wi-Fi for half an hour and then you have to pay - this, I would have thought, is a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act. Imagine going to a restaurant which offered free wine with your food, then upon arrival you were told you only got one small glass. If it wasn’t for this I would have given four stars - it’s clean, comfortable, and with friendly staff.

Room really clean and comfy. Super warm and helpful welcome from Leah. Really quiet as well. Easy to drive into Stowmarket and back without a flurry of traffic going by at night.

Pleasant and relaxing stay. Room was clean and well kept. No noise in the hotel, despite being next to a commercial vehicle garage. Staff friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The Hotel is very accommodating...I arrived early and the receptionist (Leah)checked me in and couldn't be more helpful. I use Travelodges all over the UK and this lovely lady was exceptionally nice and I thought that she deserved a mention.

the deserted Little Chef sadly reminded me of the good old days but did nothing for the ambience. It is what it is and does what it does. Well. Clean, good bed. telly worked. It did what it said on the tin.

1great service stayed many times always clean and welcoming always a pleasure visiting this hotel for business and personal no negative no restaurants however plenty of takeaway menus bed is very comfy and near by service station very handy

Stayed here for 2 nights,very warm and friendly staffs. I slept like a baby. Thank you Leah for doing extra to help, they made my stay very easy and pleasant and also helped me with information regarding good takeaways in the area. I'll be coming here again for sure.

Hotel was clean and was a convenient place to stop on our trip. The staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and just what we needed. We would stay here again.
