白天鵝酒店(The White Swan Inn)

Utroligt stort og dejligt varmt værelse. Blev taget godt imod, trods travl pub-quiz-aften ! Ved en fejl, blev vi opkrævet for værelset, skønt forudbetalt - vi var på rundtur, så det .... Men super service med hurtig returnering af dobbeltbetalingen. Maden var også supergod !

The Inn provides excellent rooms and a place to eat in the middle of the countryside. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights this week. Our room was enormous and there is plenty of parking too. Nice bar and restaurant with a reasonably priced menu. Beware, the portions are enormous. A very quiet and peaceful place to stay and a great base for exploring this part of Northumberland. Slightly more expensive than many similar places but worth it just for the peace and quiet. The check in time of 16.30 is a bit late but we managed to arrange an earlier check in time. Friendly staff and a pleasant stay.

Staying in the area so tried this place after reading reviews. We arrived and announced ourselves to the lady at the bar, no greeting she just said chose a table! I ordered the trio of lamb chops and hubby ordered the steak and guiness pie. The lamb was served with boiled new potatoes and fried Mediterranean vegetables, I asked for mint sauce and the same waitress proceded to clear and reset a table for 4 before going to get my sauce which was a bit unnecessary. She must have been having a bad day? A different younger girl cleared our plates, she was much chattier but did forget to bring the dessert menu. She apologised when she remembered though. My sticky toffee pudding was average but hubby enjoyed his jam sponge and custard. I thought the lamb was really greasy and not the best quality, hubby said his pie was tasty. It was quite reasonably priced so we weren't expecting fine dining.

Had an impromptu visit to have fish and chips. We can highly recommend. Good portion of homemade chips with a very large piece of fish in homemade batter with a pot of mushy peas. Sat in the bar to eat and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Good value too .

Just what we wanted for our visit to Lindisfarne. Around 15-20 minutes drive away. Comfortable and convenient. Good staff. Good breakfast included. Decent evening meal menu. Good value.

Great hotel, stayed in room 2, supersize bed, huge room, quality furniture, very clean bathroom, over bath shower, quiet hotel, beautiful breakfast, great staff, extremely accommodating, 5 stars all the way, minor damage to the bath panel, I only mention this because people will see this as a negative, I don't. This hotel was great value, indeed cheaper than travel lodges as a huge full English breakfast was included, food was top notch quality, thank you for everything, had the best stay - Yani and Garry Mitchell 5th March 2024

Lovely little B&B in Lowick with a nice large room, very comfy bed and huge bath. The Bar was great, staff really friendly and we had dinner there was was nice and breakfast the following day was tasty.

A comfortable stop for the night. Very convenient spot for checking out the local tourist spots. Dinner was great, room was comfortable and clean. Staff were brilliant.

Just back from three nights at the White Swan. Our first visit, and hopefully not our last. Great value food and accomodation. Room three was ideal for us, spotless and roomy. Very helpful staff. A friendly group of the Friday night locals in the Bar had some lovely stories, about Northumberland aristocratic affairs and ghosts, that we could not help overhearing and which kept me awake thinking about. (The ghosts, not the Affairs)! Well worth visiting, my wife and I say. And the village shop is just across the road, also with helpful staff!
