黑牛旅館(The Black Bull Inn)

All aspects of the Black Bull from hotel itself to food, staff and location were brilliant. The only problem was you cannot check in before 4pm. We arrived at 3.40pm and were not allowed even into the building. We sat in the car park. Not the best welcome. Maybe an overzealous member of staff abiding by the booking in time, but thankfully following that episode, everything else was magnificent.

We loved this stop on our trip, the Inn is very nicely decorated throughout with a cosy bar, great seating areas inside & out and the rooms are really great. The food in the restaurant offers an excellent choice and the portions are a really good size, and extremely tasty, and the breakfast has such a great choose. Staff are all very friendly and helpful so we would go back in a heartbeat, highly recommend.

Great place to stay easy to find. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was great and evening meal excellent. Great staff. Nothing too much bother.

A blissfull Nortumberland sanctuary. Quality fittings and finish throughout and the menu is served fresh and piping to order, generous portions, perfect cuisine. Cannot fault it. Outperforms places priced way higher. Perfect journey break on our way North for us. We will be back.

Very nice room But the speaker for the dining room music was on the ceiling under our room So no chance of an early night from us having an early start The the next morning music playing from 7:30 am so no lay in either

Warm welcome at this refurbished comfortable village pud. Good atmosphere with excellent food and drink.

Really nice place to stop to split a long drive down south. Really good location for exploring more locally and good drinks and food in the pub. Definitely will be back.

We have stopped at the Bull for past 3 years. Great stay everytime. The staff are fabulous at looking after us. The chef goes above and beyond with my gluten and lactose intolerance. Meals out this world. The accommodation is exellent, elegance in design and decoration. Very, very clean. Lovely village setting and central to visit Northumberland. Seahouses, Eyemonth or going on train to Edinburgh. Will to visiting in the future. 5 star holiday. One word fabulous. Feel at home when stopping at the Bull. 😍
