紐黑文奧蘭治/米爾福德萬怡酒店(Courtyard New Haven Orange/Milford)

The hotel was in a great location but it was moldy and amenities were missing from the room, batteries dead in the thermostat, my first room smelled like cigarettes and the carpet was greasy. When I mentioned the state of my room they quickly moved me to another room so that was nice. The most frustrating part about this hotel was the fact that my family members and I asked weeks in advance if we could book rooms on the same floor in the same general area. The hotel agreed but once we arrived they put us on all different floors, opposite sides of the hotel and everything. We tried to make the best of it. My mother and I as well as my cousins met in my aunt's double room daily so we could all be together but a neighboring room made a noise complaint. They would never have had to complain if the hotel had booked all our rooms together as we had requested.

Great Stay !

I was disappointed to see no hand soaps, lotions etc. in the room. upon multiple requests to the front desk also, they did not bring it to my room in spite of promising me they would bring it to me. I finally went to the front desk late at night and told them I am disappointed. They finally gave me a bar soap and lotion. One night, we were too tired to go out for dinner so we ordered what was called "Mediterranean flatbread". It was such a disappointment. It was the most cheesy and unhealthy pizza we ever had. My daughter just ate a little and we threw the rest of it.

I went to check in to the hotel. And the front desk women who was working told me I did not have a reservation and was very rude. I gave her my reservation number and she continued to tell me “well I’m not ******* so I don’t. Know what to tell you”. I eventually just left and checked myself into another hotel. When I contacted ******* they confirmed that o did have a reservation. End of story I did not stay at this property front staff was rude.

The property is somewhat dated and service diminished from last stay pre-pandemic. Shower was slow to drain. Noise from room above late at night and early in the morning though it was Friday and there were reportedly 2 wedding parties. Location is good with easy access to highway and is next to a restaurant.

Pool was closed and they failed to tell us at check in . The whole reason I was there was to take my kids swimming
