Very nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.

In arrival I was told that booking in was only at 3pm and on my email letter of confirmation it clearly stated 2pm. It looked as if the lady DS not believe me and so I fortunately had the confirmation email on my phone to show her. She then told me she would make and exception and allow me to book in an hour earlier! I find it frustrating that I should even hear the word “exception” as I was not in the wrong in the first place. The only other suggestion I have is that there should be a non-slip mat available to use in the shower as well as a handle to hold onto when showering and wanting to wash one’s feet. I am sure you have mane elderly visitors and it would prevent them from slipping in the shower in the slippery floor and falling. Apart from these two things I slept well and found the view over the pond with the birds a lovely one. All nice and clean and can recommend the hotel as a safe one to stay over.

The Hotel on a trading estate but this allows for bags of free parking. there was no noise at night and a host of retailers are within easy reach. Asda for breakfast for instance. My room was adequate ... no frills but purely functional. The TV is a bit small but not unwatchable. Still charging for WiFi .... come on guys it's 2024! The room was very clean and the bathroom immaculate ... and it has a bath .... wow I love a bath .... red hot water ... make the most though as I believe they are moving over to showers sadly ... I can't fault the hotel ... it is what it is. Maybe tidy up the car park and freshen up the exterior signs a bit but otherwise a good value base for exploring the area. If you want Swags and tails and the latest gadgets etc then look elsewhere.

We visited Barrow to see old friends ,our party rented 2 rooms ,the lady on reception called Claire was lovely ,very helpful ,she arranged for me to have a ground floor room as I have mobility problems . the room was spotless,I did a "4 in a bed"check and was impressed ,we will book in again when in area.

Great stay at this hotel staff very helpful especially the young lady on reception Claire I always find that whenever I stay here which is quite frequent due to my work she goes above and beyond ,rooms always clean and comfortable ,she has a great knowledge of the local area and always comes up with somewhere for me to go not been disappointed yet .look forward to my next stay

I always enjoy my stay at the Travelodge, comfortable beds, spacious rooms and great customer service from staff, well equipped, any problems are sorted quickly and efficiently. Some have eating facilities and some have a pub or eating places not far away.

I stayed here for 5 nights. The room was spacious, clean and perfect for my needs. The location was also perfect and easy to get to. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. The only thing I would suggest is that fridges are put in the rooms for people staying longer periods. I took a cool box so it wasn’t an issue for me.

Staff is 5 stars. Always helpful, polite and friendly. Because I am a regular they even call me by name. That makes my stay very pleasant. Rooms are very nice and clean. I like it so much, that on a family holiday, I stayed here. Thanks to all. Tony Fidalgo
