菲斯特酒店(The Pfister Hotel)

I have never stayed at the Pfister on Christmas Eve. While I love this place and have stayed here many times in the past, I am disappointed today! Took 40 minutes to check in! One person checking people in at 3pm. I shared this with the supervisor and she said she agreed with me and would bring it to someone’s attention. Upon checking in- I was informed my room wasn’t ready. I needed to change clothes- that did not happen at the Pfister. I checked in after 10pm because of commitments on Christmas Eve. I’m done writing- but there are other concerns with my room.

We stay here 3-4 times a year and this will be our last. It was my wife and 2 kids. We satayed here 2 weeks ago with 2 rooms for a total of 450$ and both rooms were newer and comfortable beds. This stay I did a king room that had the king bed and a pull out couch. Room was 560$ plus parking so 600$ for 1 night. The room has no way been updated since the 80s. Bed completely ******. Pull out couch appeared to be from a 70s porn shoot. I promise I could of gotten a better room in the ghetto for 80$. The bed was so bad we got up and left at 3am. No one could sleep. When we checked in and they told me to use the first elevator I knew we were in trouble. This happened 1 other time. Not sure why when you stay in the oldest dumpiest part of the hotel they charge you almost 3 times more. I could of done 2 rooms again and saved money. I was expecting for 560$ a very nice room. The lobby and the top bar are super nice. I would compliment them areas. I have always recommended this place as it’s a great location and all but most people that I have recommended I think were put in this area as they have said same thing. Great lobby and bars. Their rooms were trash. There are a lot of very nice hotels in this area. They have screwed me for the final time as we left after 4 hours of sleeping.

Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel. The lobby bar was very nice and busy. Rooms were excellent and very clean.

Service was impeccable from the hotel checkin staff to the bellman to the valet. Beautiful, unique hotel

Everyone is always so nice and very welcoming! They are always very happy to get you whatever you may need. Hotel is exceptionally clean...excellent job!

Dinner at Mason street grille was outstanding! We loved the staff, the room and the variety of bars! Our favorite place to stay!

Most amazing hotel experience of my life great views, food, service, room service timing was amazing the pillows are the best pillows I have ever slept with I highly recommend the Pfister to anyone your treated like a king/queen from the moment you walk in the door

A classic Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee. The building is beautiful and the rooms very nice. Good food options in the hotel. Had an issue with room temperature and the problem was quickly resolved. Our third trip there and hoping to do many more.

Fantastic stay - staff was attentive - rooms were spacious with amazing bedding . Blu bar had the best view and food in the cafe was great. Location great to leave car and walk everywhere . Highly recommend doing self walking art tour at hotel- just ask at desk. Work out room was very well equipped. Stepping into hotel is like a walk back in time and yet so lovely
