For the majority of our stay- it was excellent. We have stayed there before and had a great experience. We were excited to be back. We went to Monster Jam yesterday and despite best efforts to make the 2 hour trek early enough to enjoy the water park prior, we didn’t make it. We didn’t check into our room until after the water park closed. The plan was to use the water park today, our check out day, and then head home. We got there at opening. Had an absolute blast. 12 o’clock safety check came and we got out of the pool. We were planning to stay and swim maybe another 30ish minutes after the check before leaving. Everyone happy. Then came the wristband check. The lifeguard came around and loudly asked in front of everyone for our wristbands. I held mine up unknowing. She said, very accusingly, “don’t you have a red one” I was like…no? Confused. She yells at me- you can’t be in here. You have to leave. It was one of the most mortifying things I’ve ever experienced. I honestly thought it was like Great Wolf Lodge where you could use the water park the day you checked out too. I’m an honest person, I don’t take advantage of people or businesses. But today? I was treated like I was garbage. As I’m trying to get my heartbroken 8 and 5 year old changed and ready to go, these snarky lifeguards literally came back to CHECK if we were leaving. Do you need to question my integrity again? How many times do I need to say it was an HONEST mistake? So. Disappointed.
