Ayres Hotels used to have awesome breakfast buffets and quality staff. Breakfast was disappointing. The hotel had one vending machine, which was broken. After accepting $3.00 for a bottle of water, it failed to deliver the bottle. Afterwards, I noticed that there were about 10 bottles at the bottom of the vending machine. The hotel should have had a sign posted saying that the vending machine needed repairs. Even worse was the clerk telling me to email the vending machine company for the $3.00 refund.

I was a bit put off because the front desk closes at 8 pm , since I was checking later in the evening , no response from the 24 hr emerged number in case of problem . Just unusual in my opinion. Also the side walks were covered in snails - so gross . I missed the complimentary welcome glass of wine and breakfast because of the hours of the inn . It was somewhat disappointing. Place needs some updating throughout.

I really wanted to give 5 stars because my husband and I were very impressed with this hotel. The grounds were beautiful and the room was very nice. The breakfast in the morning was great and the the serving staff was very friendly. However, we were charged a $125 hold fee for our room and we were not warned about this. Also, it is taking too long for it to be removed from our card. That is very disappointing. Other than that, highly recommend this hotel.

Since my adult kids live more than two hours away from me, i decided to rent a suite and have Thanksgiving dinner catered. I purchased a small table but when i got to the hotel, the office manager offered to unlock the restaurant area and allow us to eat more comfortably down there. She even put on the football game. Now that's what i call 5 star service and trea**ent. Thank you again

My entire family was eaten alive by fleas. We moved rooms when we started seeing them hopping around everywhere (even hopping out of the sink) but by then it was too late. Truly the worst hotel experience of my life. Still in pain and and our stay was almost two weeks ago.

My wife’s Apple Watch charger was stolen. My wife had her charger plugged into the lamp charger in AM when we got back to our room it was gone
