蒙特裏久尼浪漫酒店(Romantik Hotel Monteriggioni)

Un Hotel di charme in un borgo stupendo. Accoglienza davvero cordiale e sensazione di essere 'a casa'. Stanze pulite e confortevoli in esatta armonia con la tranquillità di una location 'slow' che trasmette la vera essenza turistica e romantica della Toscana del Chianti. Unico hotel all'interno delle mura del castello di Monteriggioni. Prezzo all'altezza delle aspettative e del servizio.Consigliatissimo.

The four-star Hotel was a fantastic spot for a romantic stay behind the walls of this ancient fortress/town. Welcomed warmly by the owner, the reserved parking at the hotel - while a challenge to get to on the narrow streets - was a godsend for us as my wife has some mobility issues. The courtyard (with small pool) is a private space - a quiet oasis from the rest of the town. Restaurant Antico Tavolo served an excellent braised Cingiale and wonderful pasta ( with excellent cheesecake for dessert!) We had the pleasure to witness the joyful wedding at the Chiesa Santa Maria empty into the Piazza that warm afternoon, making the whole experience so very romantic.

We first visited Monteriggioni 16 years ago and 8 had a pipe dream to stay at the local hotel. Fast forward to 2023 and we stayed for 4 nights. Great location, the hotel was quiet, staff very helpful, great continental breakfast. Clean room, plenty of towels and sheets changed during our stay. Local restaurants all very good so you really don’t need to wander far for dinner.

We wanted to stay in a small Tuscany city and found this sweet gem. It had a gorgeous garden full of olive trees and flowering bushes along with a swimming pool. It was so refreshing to swim after a full day of seeing the sights in Siena. The room was perfect, sheets were super lux as were the towels. Bed was a nice king which is unusual. The staff were absolutely the best. Very helpful in answering all of our questions and recommending good spots for dinner. We went wine tasting close by which was a treat. We met many people who were hiking the trail that goes by the town. If you want a quiet experience in the middle of Tuscany this is the spot.

This is the ine and only hotel inside the castle. With Internal parking and electric car charger. A little pool with solarium and an astonishing garden. Topical Tuscan style. A gemstone. Great breakfast on the terrace and five star hotel Yakut service and cleaning

The receptionist was very helpful when we checked in. They have a limited bar service at any time, so soon after checking in, I went down to ask for some Prosecco. I did mention it was my birthday and he insisted on giving us two glasses on the house. Very nice gesture. The common parts are all very nice, with interesting China sculptures which we enjoyed seeing. The weather was not warm enough for us to sit out in the garden and enjoy the pool with the views, but that would be wonderful if the weather were better. Breakfast was very good, and generally they were very friendly and helpful. the only reason I did not give it five stars was that the room was a bit dark and small. You could not say it was luxurious, but for a fascinating old town, it was a great place to stay.

a very welcome sight after a long days walk on the Via Francigena. Super helpful and friendly at reception. rooms spotless, well equipped and nice decor. breakfast was great too - fortified for the day's walk ahead.

Warmest welcome from our first moment arriving and every morning at breakfast. Thank YOU Erik!!!! Impressive english, and greetings in various language for all the guests. The staff here is 5 star. My husband and I stayed for a week and felt like part of the family. Very quiet , gorgeous gardens and grounds. Excellent buffet breakfast (continental) comfy beds, large bath, plenty of hot water. Pool was refreshing since we hit the region during the recent heat wave. The photos are great and showcase what to expect. Top STARS to FRANCHESCA & ERIK & STEPHANIA - whom we encountered everyday- front desk & breakfast- and to all the support ladies who kept our room perfect. Plenty of great advice on where to find the best meal, laundry service and everything a visitor needs to make the best of their time.

No recognition of the voucher by the company: We wanted to stay at the Romantikhotel 1 night in April 2020 and were unable to travel to Italy due to Corona. We got an unlimited voucher. Now we wanted to redeem the voucher (180 euros) in April 2022 but the new management (but the same hotel name) does not recognize the voucher although the European consumer center says that this voucher is valid!!!! The hotel no longer responds to emails either!
