I hadn't been to Moscow for many years. This property has been fixed up nicely. The owners put a lot into this place. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Very nice bathrooms. Attractive decor. Great to have such a nice option downtown and near the university. Convenient digital check-in and check-out, but staff was available anytime if needed.

Definitely will stay here again next time in town. Rooms and lobby nicely updated and clean. Wonderfully comfortable bedding and pillows. Attentive and responsive management. On a suggestion card in the room, I mentioned that an adjustable shower head and having shampoo/conditioner mounted in the shower would be nice. When I stayed there again the following week, both things had been installed. The only negative is the location of being on a busy road on one side, and facing an alley on the other. However being a block from the center of town is great.

Water pressure in shower was terrible. Rooms are very small for the money. Better off stay at the best Western up the road.

When stay in Moscow, I always choose to stay at the Monarch Hotel because of the ease of check in. No need to go to the lobby! I usually stay at the Monarch at least 6 times a year. It’s always comfortable and clean. I like that we get ear plugs to keep the noise from the highway down!

Great stay at the Monarch, my first time! Very quiet and comfortable bed! The coffee in room was that extra touch!

This little place was in the perfect location! We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Staff was awesome, too. Smaller room than I hoped for, but the location couldn't have been better. Cute style, too.

Great place! Made maximum use of space. Lots of little touches to make our stay pleasant.
