Lovely stay at this Tribute Portfolio hotel! The room was beautiful and overlooked the Mississippi River. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning. The pancake with lemon zest and blueberry compote was amazing! (Food prices were reasonable in the restaurant.) We couldn't get our TV to tune in ESPN for the College World Series and I called the front desk to get assistance. A nice gentleman appeared in under five minutes and remedied the situation! Also loved that there was no charge for onsite parking!

A baseball tournament brought us to town and the service at this hotel was amazing… From front desk, housekeeping, bar & restaurant. Kathy, in Sales, was terrific to work with taking care of our team and all our families rooms. A few parents only are coming back for a “date weekend” this autumn.

The hotel was definitely deserving of a 5 rating, but poor service and food at its on site restaurant causes me to give it an overall 4 rating. I would definitely stay there again, but I would choose to eat somewhere else. An excellent hotel experience overall.

We we’re looking for a hotel on the way to Omaha and stumbled across this gem. The drive into the city across the big blue-lit bridge was pretty cool. Crossing the Mississippi in style. Rooms were really nice, with upscale feel, mini-bar, and snacks.

One of the best hotels I have come across. Could have more vegan options, but considering the situation, pretty good! Service is great. Nice rooms, relatively clean, swimmable pool, spacious gym, great views of the Mississippi River.

We were visiting our daughter who just moved to the are. We enjoyed the view from our room of the Mississippi River. For the price we paid I would have preferred two ply toilet paper and softer tissues. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. We will stay again whenever we visit our daughter because the location was perfect!

We stay every Labor Day eve, always enjoy the view of the river, very nice place but was disappointed this year, no food or bar and we were not notified, price was still high. If I would have known we would have stayed else were.

This is the best hotel we have stayed at. Clean, modern, beautiful river view. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a bathtub in the room per the description but the bathroom was spotless! Loved the property and will definitely be back!

We were impressed by the Merrill hotel the minute we walked in. Very open, modern with a touch of Elegance. Check-in was quick, we arrived early and was able to check in. We had a Riverview room, which was gorgeous as we watched the colors change on the centennial bridge. We participated in the 4th of July event, it was totally worth the money with the dueling pianos, hors d'oeuvres and desserts and again that's spectacular view of the fireworks over the Mississippi river. Highly recommend and most likely will be back.
