Vintage property with mesmerizing views, Rokeby ***or is the best thing about Landour. Had an amazing stay with my wife. Loved everything about the property but a special word for the dining experience at Emily's - one of the best I have experience anywhere across India. Highly recommended for people visiting Landour!

Beautifully located atop a hill! Have lunch at Emily's and then rest in the private tea garden. It’s a quaint little boutique hotel so do not expect services like a corporate 5- star. The place has an old world charm to it. We loved the food at Emily’s Must try’s Fish and Chips

an absolute must for those who love mountains and proximity to nature and a peaceful languishing pace of existence. Good hospitality is a add on ! will be great if small plates and combos make it to Emily’s wonderful food for frugal eaters! a few indian desserts as well 😊👍👍❤️

Had a great stay in Rokeby ***or... Truly peaceful and relaxing. In house restaurant provide great options and service is top notch.

The rooms were small and fairly highly priced. Despite a request being placed to allocate both rooms adjacent each other or opp each other. The hotel ensured that the rooms were some distance apart, which made it very inconvenient due to an infant with us. The meals were average and we found that the property was over hyped and probably had flow of regular clientele due to a boarding school in the vicinity. Though the booking made was through a travel site and they were to take the payment through credit card, the hotel insisted on complete payment being transferred to them through bank transfer, which caused great inconvenience.

Excellent service, lovely rooms, clean and comfortable stay. Professional staff. I loved the flowers and butterflies of the tea garden! Amazing sunsets each night. Excellent continental breakfast, but consider improving the quality of the baked goods. All of the baked goods were dry. I think they were not baked fresh or kept in airtight sealed containers.

Amazing resort. Weather was a big plus. Staff are very professional and helpful. Ak**** and team are very helpful employees. I'd love to go back to the resort. Landour is an amazing place to visit. Thank you for the warm hospitality

We wanted to visit this place for a long time and it was worth the wait. Rokeby is at an excellent location in Landour away from the noise and overcrowded Mussorie. The staff here is very good and very passionate about the property, most of them have been since the opening of the place. The food is also very good and a lot of people come only to dine at their restaurants. We were lucky to get upgraded for a night to their villa which has excellent views unlike most rooms in the hotel which don't have a view and not even an openable window. My disappointment is the mainataince of the rooms. Its been more than 12/13 years since its open and most of the furniture and furnishings are worn out. I know the passionate Sanjay Narang who is always ahead of the game had the vision of Luxury boutique property but since 2020 a lot of homestays and boutique hotels have come up in India and have much better rooms as far as the looks and amenities go. They need to refurbish all the rooms. Also suggest please install tankless water heaters instead of a huge tank sitting over the pot which is very uncomfortable. I Therefore felt the property is overpriced due to the rooms look and feel and amenities offered in it. Hope to visit soon when it Happens :-)

An age old building and interiors it carry’s a look of neglect and over exposure Normally over crowded during the summers getting a room booking is a task that does not get accomplished easily We visited their restaurant Emily’s Old wooden staircase leads to a glass door with a thousand finger marks on it , that open up into a warm dining area . The seating arrangement is warm and colonial and they normally play soulful 80’s English tracks One wall is lined with all the elite magazines of the era and English posters to give the place a British look The food was worth the price and the service was prompt But the place needs a lot of attention towards the cleanliness and maintenance of such fine work***ship of the whole building overall
