泰奧嘉諾伯酒店(Taj Al Janoub Hotel)

I was passing through the south with my French cousin. unfortunately we ran out of gas near this hotel. so we booked a room at this hotel. I was very sick so I let my cousin pay while I rested. during the night my cousin went to fetch water for me because I was even sicker. but the manager didn't want to give water so he ended up selling one for 50,000 LL but it was the next day that I realized the scam I was in. It turned out that the hotel manager had charged my cousin $ 135 for a small room with two beds. but I am not stupid I know very well the value of his rooms at the moment in Lebanon. So I went to ask other customers how much they paid for one night in the same room and they told me they paid $ 35 for one night. we tried to see this with the manager but he got mad insulted us he asked us to leave plus it turns out he charged 80,000 LL for the bottle of water. moreover the room was very bathroom and not at all comfortable. I didn't try to negotiate because I was way too sick and then my cousin accompanied me to the hospital and they explained to me that I had poisoning and dehydration. in short i am shocked that you can take advantage of someone sick and some foreigner who does not know anything about the dollar in this country. I have been working in the hospitality industry for six years and have never seen a scam like this. it's sad to see that
