A place with fabulous views and clean comfortable rooms. The food is also delicious food. The staff is very heart warming. There is an extremely cozy fireplace to chill at and a huge terrace to enjoy the sunsets and sunrises. This place is to die for.

Amazing staff amazing views amazing rooms amazing food!! Will recommend for the rest of my life! Had the time of my life at this beautiful resort and highly recommended to all travelers! Also overall recommend visiting Nagarkot, such a beautiful place to stay! Learned lots and had the time of my life!!

The hot shower literally saved my life and the bed was so comfortable. The place is really cute and the staff are so nice! Everything is so homey and nice and I had a great time. They were great with us kids and the food was great. When we all sat by the campfire, the staff even went so far as to play the guitar and sing for us, adding to the coziness of this great hotel.

Their is a really nice view. The people are super friendly. I really enjoyed the shower and the bed very comfortable. Their were impeccable activity’s around hiking to see the beautiful sunset and a good workout that helped me stay in shape. This place feels like a dream resort would definetly come again.

Backroad rocky and bumpy, 80 steps up to place, side apartments are no view. 2 HRS from Ktm. 16,000 Rps to get here (7 people) in a van. Normal car could be difficult...Resort faces NW. really need to walk 20 min down Rd to see around corner. If you like walking should be ok. I have my 75 yr old mother in law w us... not recommended. Personally would not have come here if had some info like this beforehand. Booking phone is in Kathmandu and she knows nothing and communicates badly w this place. It is nice if you want peace and quiet and the staff are good but if older or have transport issues is def "out there.." probably wouldn't come back as there are lots of other places higher up w better views... and that's why we came for the view. Advert pix have nice view ( from main building) but the check in gave is rooms in another block and I have pine tree view ! say what? what's the point? spending $200 a night for what? (4 rooms). Get up predawn if want to see mountains as once sun is up it gets foggy 1 day at most recommended.

This hotel is tucked away in peaceful side of the Nagarkot. It has beautiful views, cozy rooms, and a nice terrace. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a great place to relax and enjoy nature.I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful gateway and we cant wait to go back again. Thank you so much and see you again :)

Stayed here for a night , not far from Kathmandu and away from the tourist hustle of Nagarkot . Great food and nice service with bonfire and music added to the great evening. Rooms are alright not as good as the other hotels but have a great view on a clear day . All in all a comfortable night with good service

Right up front, I'd like to state I didn't stay at this hotel -- and that is exactly the point. I booked a one-night stay in this establishment two weeks in advance, for a weekend trip I'd planned to Nagarkot in mid-October with my 75-year-old mother. The day before our stay, I received a message from a member of staff informing me that the resort could no longer honour the booking, because a group of other guests had decided to extend their stay by one night. These guests, I was informed, were having a private function (read -- party). The staff representative justified this by saying that it was the holiday season (Dashain) and it was common for hotels to be busy at this time. Well, that may be so, but kicking out two booked guests to make way for a group that changed its plans at the very last minute is the height of rudeness, poor customer service and bad business practice. I tried insisting that my mother and I stay in the Lapsi Tree Resort as planned, but I was informed that simply wouldn't be possible. We reluctantly accepted the resort's offer to transfer our booking to another hotel in the area. (Let's call it Hotel X, as it is not the main focus of this review.) When we stayed at Hotel X, what I found particularly telling was that a member of staff said the Lapsi Tree Resort often sent their guests there when they were overbooked. This would suggest that the Lapsi Tree Resort is in the habit of failing to honour customer bookings. Not only that, the Lapsi Tree Resort's incompetence bled into our stay at Hotel X. Put simply, the Lapsi Tree staff completely messed up the communication regarding the payment of our bill, resulting in inconvenience and wasted time. The more detailed account is as follows: When we went to check out at Hotel X, we were informed by the receptionist that, based on information from Lapsi Tree, our bill was already paid. I told the her multiple times that that was incorrect and we still had to pay for our room, but she wouldn't accept our money. So, we left, although with a great deal of hesitation. At that point, it seemed the only option was to get back in touch with the Lapsi Tree Resort later regarding payment. On the way to the bus stand, however, we were stopped by another member of the Hotel X staff on his motorbike, who said there had been a mix-up and the information originally received from Lapsi Tree (that our bill was paid) was incorrect. So, we had to go all the way back to Hotel X to settle our account. Thanks to the Lapsi Tree's startling incompetence, we wasted a substantial chunk of our morning. Do yourself a favour, steer well clear of the Lapsi Tree Resort. They will quite clearly toss you aside if it's financially in their interests to do so (e.g., if a more profitable private group comes along later) and they don't care at all for guests who have booked well ahead. Plus, their poor communication and organisation skills likely will disrupt your trip if you accept their offer to place you

I had a very stressful and bad experience with the resort. I booked a hotel through ******* for 1 day from June 28th to 29th. As this was a trip that I was making to Nepal after 7 years, I was taking my family and friends who had toddlers to enjoy with me and booked 2 rooms. I told the lady on the phone that I will get additional rooms (total 3 rooms) and will pay for the third one when I am on site as I already made payments for the other 2 rooms. As we planned to stay overnight we started our journey late afternoon from Kathmandu. When we reached there we found out that the ONLY road that led to the hotel was blocked by road construction and no vehicle was passing through. They should have known that as that did not look it was just blocked that particular day and should have informed us any alternative. We called the hotel and they told us there was another way and for which we agreed and asked if somebody can come to escort us from the point on wards. They asked us to drive for at least 30 minutes down the road (which was half pitch and half dirt road) to a different town where we met the hotel staff. At this point the toddler was crying and everybody was frustrated as it was getting dark. A 5 minutes road to resort had become 45 minutes struggle, trying to figure out how to reach the resort. The staff who came on motercycle (Hari Rana) asked us to take a dirty, muddy, stiff uphill road which we feared that our small hatchback cars will get stranded in mud (muddy due to rain) and with small kids we did not want to take any chances in middle of nowhere. As it was getting dark we told the hotel staff that we want to cancel and get refunded as we tried our best to reach their resort but there was no possible way to reach. We went back to look for other hotels nearby and luckily we found one. We called the hotel and told them the story and they agreed to refund, however they only refunded half of the money. I called *******, which they helped a lot, but resort was not very helpful and stopped picking up ******* or our calls. I wasted so much time with them that day, that I could not even enjoy one day that I went to spend time with family and friends. If I could I will give them zero star because if I had cancelled and did not show up then not refunding money is justifiable but that was not the case with us.
