I used to be a big fan of this hotel since 2018. Something has changed on quality. New rooms are decent. Management not so! I sent two emails to manager to report issues with my room and sent three messages through his staff. No response from him! Please bring back the old quality to your renovated property. More training is needed for staff.

Hospitality at it's best. I had one of the best relaxed days of my life. I booked a staycation and it was worth every coin. The rooms, the food and i cannot forget about the lovely staff that you have, so warm and Kind-hearted I didn't want to go back home. Thanks so much Tribe. Shout out to Muchina and Barack for the purest smiles and welcome. I will be back

I had a wonderful stay, all of the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially in the exec lounge and Cornelius who helped with my travel. It’s right next to Village Mall with lots of shopping and dining options. A great property all round.

Hello, I booked the Hilton Kwetu in September (paid in full non refundable). In Dec, I received and email stating that the hotel was not open and I would be transferred to another hotel (Tribe). I booked three rooms, and confirmations were sent to me regarding this. Upon arrival there was confusion regarding whether my reservation was paid for which to my knowledge it was since it was deducted from my account months prior. To make sure I was not charged twice, I opened up a ticket with Hilton to get a receipt. The numbers listed online did not get me to a person so it was quite difficult. In the meantime, Tribe locked our rooms three times. After returning from an activity later I went to the front desk to clear everything up. I ran through all of my confirmations/app several times with the staff regarding pricing. (I sent these items 3 times prior via the requests of the staff members). After doing math, and them calling their Hilton contact on several occasions, we agreed upon the rate that I confirmed prior to the transfer and I paid with my card. One of the rooms added on an additional day for their stay, signed a contract regarding the rate, and paid for the additional night. Later that day, she was stopped in the lobby and asked to pay again even though she had a receipt for that transaction with Barbara. I was called that morning and told that I needed to pay for an extra day when my confirmation already included 4 days. I had to go to the front desk and make sure that was cleared up. They locked us out of our rooms again, and we had to get them to re-add access. Upon checkout, an additional $55 was on the folio, with no notes next to it. I asked what the charge was for and the manager could not confirm where it came from. After 30 minutes of him trying to figure out the origin of the charge it was removed. The entire experience was the worst billing exchange I have ever encountered. Unacceptable billing behaviors, and terrible quality control.

The accommodations were excellent: modern, comfortable and with interesting decor. I enjoyed the breakfasts near the pool. But best of all was the staff, always friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Tony, who was never without a smile and a kind word.

My stay at the tribe was the best I’ve ever had in Nairobi and in Kenya.The rooms are gorgeous and functional but best part about my trip was their staff;NINA,NORAH,TABITHA,JANICEand BARBRA who wholeheartedly customized my experience to make sure I had the best birthday ever and that also I got to the best my experience at the tribe by even recommending the spa Thank you so much I truly appreciate your service. May you be blessed abundantly and may you receive the same love you accorded me and even more. Lastly Nina thank you for getting me a package that fits my needs and even more I asked for .I will definitely be back at the Tribe.

Wonderful staff, top notch service and a beautiful hotel. The staff are what make this hotel special. All staff were incredibly welcoming but Jane at reception and Geoffrey at the restaurant went above and beyond on several occasions. Would recommend use of the Tribe's drivers as well, all of who were great and punctual. The hotel itself is beautiful and the only issues I noted were that the hot water was temperamental and I would have preferred a slightly softer mattress. The security is also very good and the food at the restaurant is also very good.

This is a really pretty hotel with some issues. The concierge and security staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The front desk was OK but not as helpful when things went wrong, like no hot water. (More on that below.) There's a small gym and hotel guests have access to a larger gym in the market. My room was spacious and nicely designed. The water was tepid at best and often cold, with no hot water at all. I discovered this on my first of 9 nights. The front desk said that maybe I wasn't turning it right (um...we have hot water in the US. I know how it works.) When I insisted, they sent an engineer who sat there with the water (sink and shower) at full force for over 10 min. It finally got a little warm, and they told me that's what I needed to do. I later discovered that other guests also didn't have hot water. The refrigerator never worked, so the beverages were warm. The bathroom had a slight musty, mildewy smell. There is no heat, which is unfortunate because my lower level room was freezing v at night. There was also constant loud noise above - bangs, clattering. It would wake me up in the middle of the night. The breakfast and restaurant were the highlights of the stay. However, a good night's sleep and hot shower are basics, so it's hard to give a higher rating because of breakfast.

Really great stay! We celebrated a birthday and it was our first but definitely not last stay at Tribe. Everything was amazing, from the check in with great service during check in provided by Cameline, a warm welcome by housekeeping staff, very personal and friendly at the restaurant. A big plus for gluten-free options at the dinner and breakfast! The birthday dinner become a success as we enjoyed the food and the service. Thank you Tribe with staff for a lovely stay and a memory for life. See you soon again!
