里約酒店(Hotel Rio)

I got a reasonably good deal through an online booking site, which took the sting out of the tail for me, but if you paid the full price advertised by Hotel Rio, it would not be good value for money. Despite trying hard by putting toiletries in the bathroom, and including niceties like slippers and in-room tea and coffee, they haven't quite nailed it. The rooms are small, the shower only just okay, and the bathroom cleanliness was average. Everything looks a bit tired and worn out. But the worst thing for me was the noise! Hotel Rio is located in a very noisy neighbourhood. The room I was initially given was so bad, I asked to be moved. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere where the street noise, especially bars/nightclubs was so loud! The second room was better, but I could still hear loud music coming from outside, so I had trouble sleeping until it eventually stopped. Despite the noise, the bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful.

- Front door was welcoming - Reception was good- the entire team -Restaurant services were excellent -Room services were good I.e cleanliness etc -Hotel is at good location from city centre - Generally the whole staff was friendly and charming. - I most recommend Rio Hotel to my colleagues

Ik was hier 3 weken voor werk . Het hotel is heel goed , kamers zijn schoon net zoals het bed niets op aan te merken. De staf is meedenkend en heel vriendelijk alleen als je langer ergens bent wordt je toch anders behandeld dan nieuwe gasten deels positief. Het enige wat niet goed is is planning van het ontbijt en het lange wachten op het diner. Het ontbijt zou open zijn vanaf 6 uur maar dan staat er nog niets pas om 6.30 uur begint het wat te worden en soms staat er dan ook nog niets terwijl ik om 7.00 uur moest vertrekken naar het werk. De bediening probeert er wel alles aan te doen maar dan is het al te laat om rustig te kunnen ontbijten. S'avonds heb ik soms wel 2 uur moeten wachten op het diner waar ik niet vrolijk van wordt. Maar al met al is het een goed hotel met hele goede housekeeping, vriendelijk personeel en een meedenkende staf. Ik kan het hotel aanbevelen voor een goed verblijf. Het enige minpunt is het lange wachten op het diner en het niet gereed zijn van het ontbijt. Daarom 3 i.p.v. 5 punten

I had the best time in the hotel. Sleeping was my best part since the rooms are super cosy. Customer service is great and these guys can overfeed you with their lovely meals. I enjoyed my stay in Rio.

Rooms are spacious and very comfortable bed. The room service people were kind and honest..I asked to be given a mosquito repellent and it was done immediately.. I asked to checkout at noon and it was granted with no cost.

Hotel was amazing cleanliness was perfect Attitude of staff was excellent could not do enough for you receptionist Rebecca was a pleasure to meet nothing was to much trouble for her food excellent overall a perfect hotel will definitely return would recommend to anyone

I had an opportunity to stay at Hotel Rio during the standard chartered Marathon 2023. For the price I was offered, I must say this was a very comfortable stay and that there was value for money. The staff are very friendly and willing to go an extra mile to see the staff happy. I particulary enjoyed service from Josephine, Rebecca and Consent - Very friendly people. The espouse the acronym of the hotel name; Reliability, Integrity and Ownership (RIO) I also enjoyed the all the meals at the hotel. The breakfast was super heavy and worth it. While lunch and supper were also well prepared and not overpriced I also loved the flexibility of the restaurant staff when I was not able to take my meals at the time the hotel had scheduled. The rooms were confortable for me and my room, particularly had a good view of the city. I loved the in room team and the comfortable beddings. The room was surely cozy and I would love visiting them again. I would recommend anyone looking for budget accomodation in Nairobi to consider staying at Hotel RIO. I will surely be staying with them again the next time I am in Nairobi

Hotel is very nice and clean and the included breakfast is excellent. Hotel employees are very friendly and pleasant.l will not hesitate to stay here again next time. The hotel rates per night is also reasonable.
