There are many nice things to say about this place, but I can’t say them because in two days, despite their assurances, I couldn’t have a single hot shower. The only time it worked was when the person from staff came to check on it. I am very upset, hot shower is essential, and I’m okay without it if that’s how it is and I have been told that. But the problem was that I was told otherwise. So my expectations were to have hot showers in the morning, and that never happened. Leaving the place 100% sure to never recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I spent one night in Waterbuck with our three kids (19, 17 and 14 years old). Frankly a very poor experience: we found the bed sheets dirty and found out they did not change them before our arrival. Hotel cleanness in general is a major issue. The location is not ideal either. If you are planning to go to Lake Nakuru look for other accommodation options, we recommend something away from the town center.

The hotel is perfectly located and the whole building and rooms are nicely maintained. Good breakfast buffet. Pricing is fair. The problem is the street noise! Very thin windows gave me a hard time. Go for a room facing the pool (but there without moskito nets)...

Our one-night stay, 12 adults, 6 kids, brought mixed experiences.Positives: early check-in, lovely pool, good breakfast, decent rooms. Downsides: uneven reception treatment, rooms mostly lacked AC, even the AC room had issues. Inconsistency in room standards despite the same price. Invoice trouble and manager's unavailability made checkout lengthy. Okay for a short stay, but I wouldn't recommend for longer visits. Needs improved customer service and consistent room quality.

PWD unfriendly. Uncompliant The entrance ramp was blocked with huge flower pots removed on seeing me in Crutches .Security were confused , meeting in Elementaita Hall 1 St floor no ramp. Wasn't welcom

Excellent hotel! Great staff, nice rooms, good central location with restaurants and shops nearby. Also nice breakfast buffet in the patio. Just be aware - they are very strict with visitors, even if a friend just comes with you for 5 minutes (in the evening/night.

We had a truly excellent stay at the Waterbuck hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with a great authentic kenyan vibe. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed - we had a really very good sleep. The wifi worked perfectly too. The dinner and breakfast were very qualitative, with abundant buffet at breakfast and a la carte menu for dinner. The dishes were very good and made with love. The staff were super friendly, very helpful and genuinely nice. Big thanks to all the great staff, we felt very welcome. Location is amazing, in the heart of Nakuru. We walked to all the places. Nakuru is very safe. If i can make one suggestion: there are some stray kittens/cats in the hotel and they seemed very hungry. It would be nice if they could be fed 😇 We sincerely enjoyed our stay and wished we had stay longer. We can only warmly recommend the hotel to all visitors - Thank You Waterbuck!!!
