My friends and I had an absolutely fantastic stay at 76 Main during Figawi weekend on Nantucket. We've visited this charming hotel several times before, and each visit is always a delight. This year, the perfect weather added an extra layer of magic to our stay. In previous years, the decor at 76 Main had a refreshing, light, and airy feel that perfectly captured the essence of Nantucket. However, last year the hotel had switched to a very dark green color scheme that felt out of place on the island. We were thrilled to see the hotel return to its brighter, more welcoming style this year. Richard, the general manager, had told us last year that the green look was going to change back to something more coastal, and he was right. The coral and blue touches throughout the hotel are absolutely stunning and really enhance the overall ambiance. Catching up with Richard was a highlight, as he walked us through all the exciting updates. The hotel is filled with some really cool pieces, like a magazine featuring Meghan Trainor and oversized typewriter keys on the wall. The kid in me wanted to touch them, but Ann told me to let it be. Our room even had some interesting articles about newscasters, which added a unique and fun touch. At Richard's suggestion, we took a short stroll over to 21 Broad to say hello to Amanda and check out the new lobby. The space looks incredible—modern, chic, and vibrant. It’s fantastic to see that the team has stayed on and continues to enhance the properties. Our evenings were equally enjoyable, as we grabbed drinks at The Club Car and listened to the piano man serenade us. Not only did I get my 2024 Figawi cap, but the delicious chocolate chip cookies and the weekend festivities might have added an extra pound or two. We're already looking forward to our visit next year. Spending Figawi weekend at 76 Main is becoming a cherished annual tradition for us, and we can't wait to see what new touches the hotel will unveil next. What an amazing transformation has happened with this hotel….having stayed here before, we were blown away with the change…,the new design…absolutely cool with every room giving an updated view of the Nantucket experience….fresh and interesting with artwork & media that brings the past & recent history of this special island to life in a clean modern way. You won’t need a book. There is plenty to engage you. Could be the coolest new address on ACK.. Nantucket.

The Hotel has an unparalleled uniqueness and outstanding location. Immaculately clean. Rooms are excellent. Richard the manager ensured our visit was excellent. As you walk up to the inn you can feel the spirit of Captain Ahab

Wonderful property and staff. Right downtown. Staff attentive and knowledgeable. Evening outdoor fireplace was a treat after a day of exploring the history and cuteness of Nantucket.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. It is centrally located. The perfect place--very close to town. The rooms are impeccable and tastefully decorated. They offer some breakfast delights which are just enough after an evening of fine dining in town. Coffee and water is available 24/7. I can't say enough about the manager and staff at 76 Main. They are helpful and very knowledgable about the town and events. The manager, especially, made our stay memorable. We look forward to returning again next year.

It checked all the boxes for me. Expensive area to visit & need to fly or take a ferry fro Cape Cod or New Bedford MA.

i did not like the breakfast which consisted only of sweet items. There was no bread or cheese or anything savory except for develled eggs served in oyester dishes without bread or even crackers!

Delightful! 76 Main looks like it has been refurbished recently with excellent taste. All the bathrooms are new and well equipped. The location could not be better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I visited 76 Main for our 3rd time this year. My sister and brother and law may be at their 7 or 8th time. Our first reaction is that we were a little bummed by the change in decor. We have always loved the coastal, bright and summery feel of each room. Maybe it was considered dated but it also felt really crisp and Nantucket-y! The decor is now a bit like Sister Ship inside with the deeper tones and antique furnishings, but it's not quite as luxurious or layered so it kind of misses the mark. All that being said, we will be back again b/c the team and bones of the hotel are fantastic. Richard and his team are amazing and always make us feel welcome and comfortable. Whether it's the beach bags and chairs available whenever we ask, space in the fridge for our sandwiches, the delicious cookies at night and creative breakfast spread in the morning - no detail is missed. The beds, linens and towels are super comfortable, and rooms easily accommodated our luggage with ample room to move around (we were in a Premium Queen this time, previously we were in King Suite). Not to mention, the location CAN NOT be beat. This part of Main Street is incredibly quiet but also so close to all of the action so it's really simple to grab a coffee, walk to dinner, check out the boats, grab a quick gift, or jump on the bike trail to the beaches & brewery.
