Go to Baha Mar Rosewood or Atlantis Cove. Don’t fall for this marketing trap, as they heavily misrepresent the state of this hotel.
- Still under heavy construction (barely any rooms open) and will hear loud buzzsaws, hammers, tractors, machinery, and other loud noises in the room, at the pool, and on the beach for a while.
- Located directly on the road and police sirens are constant.
- No restaurants available (only a soggy sandwich or boxed salad) and expensive to taxi to any options since the temporary free shuttle ends early in the night and only takes you to a couple locations.
- A/C vent buzzing, construction banging & beeping, and doors slamming all night and morning that prevented sleep because the doors and walls are paper thin.
- Housekeeping knocks on doors far too often and comes in no matter what you say.
- Goldwynn timeshare salesman pesters you relentlessly the whole trip.
- Water leak in room, so unable to shower and pieces of the ceiling fell.
- Non-working outlets.
- Lifeguards do not allow guests to do much of anything besides stand in the water.
Management claimed they would promptly correct their shortcomings, but failed to do so even after promising to send maintenance numerous times. Take your business elsewhere.
