Unless you decide to go the B&B route this may be your only housing option locally. Although somewhat well worn, the lodge is adequate. Everything seemed to work and the room was clean. We were on the second floor and there is no elevator but you have a nice balcony which you share with others on the floor. They do not serve breakfast.

Loved the big bathroom Floors were all linoleum didnt care for that. No locks on outer door and blinds didnt work properly

Eh, not the best by no means. Yet, the options are slim out in that area. Just be prepared for the main office closing at 8. Also, if you need any ice after 8, it'll be a no go. On, and no coffee! Again, prepare to hit the nearest convenience store.

I will just start off saying that I have stayed here before and my family has stayed here quite a bit. I did have some problems and they were addressed. The owner of the hotel was more than generous to make things right. I did stay in one of the older rooms And I felt comfortable there. He told me they were in the process of doing more remodeling. I hope the next time I go back because this has been a yearly event for my family that I will be able to stay there.

Check in was easy, room was clean, bathroom was clean. I wasn’t worried about my car getting broken into overnight(I was worried in Montrose). Hopefully they get their restaurant up and running, it will be nice having dining options on the property. Definitely recommended if you need a place to stay in the area

Due to how hard it is to find help now days, the motel had a long delay in getting our room available. We showed up at 3:00, but had to wait until almost 5:00 pm before we could get into our room. This seemed to be a running theme at the four different motels we stayed at during this trip, so plan accordingly

Arrived after 3pm, notional check-in time but reception was closed. Rang on provided phone and receptionist said she'd be there in 10 minutes. Otherwise OK, and room was clean and comfortable. Guest laundry temporarily out of service.

Staff was excellent and friendly. Can hear people talking and walking in the rooms above and beside. Bathroom had bugs all over (didn’t notice until the morning I left.) Blondies was advertised to be open until 9pm (same owner as hotel). Went there at 7pm and it was closed. Went over to the pizza place and got great food there. Nice place and community otherwise but it was a bit of a letdown.

The whole place is nice and clean inside and out. It's an older motel so the rooms are larger than more "modern" motels, at least ours was. Paint looks fresh inside and out and overall the building and room are in good repair. The little deck that overlooks the parking lot was clean and obviously taken care of regularly. Staff seems friendly and helpful. Overall we are super happy with it and will absolutely be back.
