The Hotel is clean and peaceful (October) and the rooms are comfortable. The 'manager' Franco (Toast of London) was pleasant enough. There is no car park and I can imagine finding a parking spot would be difficult in the summer., and definitely no garden (not even a flower pot). The restaurant had a very limited choice (when open) Deserved 2 stars and that was generous. The most remarkable breakfast comprised two slices of 35 mm thick toast (sliced packet bread). Each slice was a loaf in itself. Presumably what the owner thought a pilgrim needed to see them through the day. It was ghastly. Would stop there again provided I could bring my own hamper of food.
