The AC did not work in my first room so they moved me to a new room late. There were not many food choices nearby.

Our stay was very nice. We were on a weekend get-away, and this was the perfect place for us to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed a new light bulb in the lamp.

I had to change my bed sheets once I got there. It looked like someone just made the bed without changing the sheets after the last person left. The bed was certainly broke in..( bowed inward) Other than that it was good..

No hot water for showers and the bar was closed for spring break. We went to celebrate a birthday and thought it would be fun to have a drink by the fire. Told the receptionist about the water and she said other people also didn't have hot water and they hoped to have it fixed for our stay tonite. I told her we were only staying one night and she said ok. Hotel is clean and beautiful and the beds are amazing. Would give it another try but would call first and see of the water got fixed.

This was our second time here and it is a delightful place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. We will stay there again and have told friends and family.

If you are looking for a basic no frills affordable place to stay, this is it. Convenient to the state parks? Quiet. Staff is attentive and available. Rooms are clean. Nice place to stay.

This place is an excellent place to stay especially for the rates. It is very well-maintained.

Stayed here for Ohio University sibs weekend, its about a 17 minute drive from Athens and a great option if you are trying to save money. Much cleaner than many hotels I've stayed at and the staff is always delightful.
